Oscars co-host Alec Baldwin thought he and Steve Martin were “great” as presenters of the Oscars.

The 51-year-old actor recently hosted the 82nd Academy Awards along with Martin, 64.

Talking about how they got on, he said to UsMagazine.com: “I think it went great! I think it went really well. We decided it wasn’t about Steve and me, it’s about the nominees and the presenters. You don’t need to see us!”

The two actors received praise for their hosting duties. Linda Stasi, from the New York Post, wrote that the “two seriously funny guys got seriously funny”.
