Kung-Fu Panda dominates Annie Awards

Having an eating disorder and weight problems may not be bad at all provided you enjoy the same box office and awards popularity
enjoyed by Kung Fu Panda’s Po. However, Po had a lot of help from the other animal characters in the martial arts movie when in
dominated the 36th Annie Awards this year. The Annie Awards honors the top animation achievement every year. Kung Fu Panda,
which won the Best Animated Feature this year, followed the success of Ratatouille last year but Kung Fu upped the victory by
winning 10 awards. The movie had characters voiced by Angelina Jolie as the Tigress, Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman and of course
Jack Black as Po the Panda. The movie won over other favorites like Wall E and Bolt. All three are expected to slug it out in this
year’s Oscars where they got nominated for the Best Animated Feature category.
Award winning actor Dustin Hoffman proved he is a great actor even when playing an animated character after he won the best acting
award for giving voice to master Shifu. The other honors awarded to Kung Fu Panda include Best Animated Video Game, Individual
Achievement award for Li-Ming Lawrence, character animation in a feature production for James Baxter, Character design in an
Animated Feature Production for Nico Marlet, directing in an animated feature production for John Stevenson and Mark Osborne.
The “Secrets of the Furious Five” which is also part of the Kung Fu Panda movie also won the best character animation in a
television production or short film for Pierre Perifel, the character design in an animated television production for Nico Marlet and the
character design in an animated feature production again for Nico Marlet.
