Jane Lynch was superb during the opening number of the 2011 Emmy Awards, which was held at Nokia Theatre Live LA Live in Los Angeles this past Sunday. The 51-year old “Glee” actress, who also hosted the ceremony, sang about the imaginary building where TV shows live together in harmony. There were a lot of cameos in the opening, including “Grey’s Anatomy” actor Eric Dane, American Idol judge Randy Jackson, the cast of “Mad Men”, the cast of the “Big Bang Theory” and more. This more than made up for the fact that Jane rarely gets to sing on “Glee”.
