During the show, the Barbadian beauty of a singer talked about how she got involved with Bono and Jay-Z on ‘Stranded’, what’s next for her, who she’s rooting for in the Super Bowl, her forthcoming tour and trash pop singer Ke$ha. Rihanna said of Ke$ha “She’s incredible. I think she’s the new ‘it girl’ in the industry. She has so much a swagger. I actually got to hang out with her at the NRJ Awards. It’s really her life – that’s just who she is, which is what I appreciate.”
Jay-Z going for Broadway

It seems Jay-Z is not going to be getting to artistically involved in the project… probably just financially. That’s what it’s like when you don’t need to work on your stuff anymore, just pay others to do it. Jay-Z really has come a long way, hasn’t he? All the more stories he will have to share with his grandchildren… if there are ever going to be any, that is.
Beyonce’s marriage is a power struggle

Or at least that’s what the singer says. These were her words: “My marriage is a power struggle. But if I didn’t respect someone, and they didn’t have that strength, then I would be bored. I wouldn’t be attracted to them.” By power struggle does she mean a constant competition for wearing the pants in the family? If that’s the case, it would really suck for Jay-Z if he isn’t winning. But since Beyonce has bothered to mention the aspect he must at least be putting up one decent fight. You have to wonder how long they can keep at it like that… and answer in the words of so many hopeless romantics before you: “forever”.
Beyonce can’t cook

As stated by the star herself: “You’d think as much as I love to eat that I’d be able to cook, but no. I’m the best at ordering room service though!” One couldn’t say that her inability to cook is that surprising, but it’s this really awesome talent she unveils that can really get you excited. It’s amazing that among us there are people with such unique abilities such as ordering room service. Hopefully her husband, Jay-Z, is much more skilled with a frying pan and a couple of eggs and this marriage might actually have a chance in the long run.
Diddy’s Voting Efforts

During a ‘Last Chance for Change’ rally on Sunday at Florida Memorial University, the duo told voters not to be discouraged by long lines at polling places. Music executive Kevin Liles also pointed out that fans have endured long lines for CDs and Jordans so why not endure long lines to vote and make a change. Hip hop mogul and singer Mary J. Blige were also in attendance showing their support to the now President-elect Barack Obama.
Beyonce Meeting Leads to Arrest

A Detroit Beyonce fan named Robert Williams was arrested in Connecticut after driving erratically and nearly hitting a police car. One of the things he told the cops was that Mrs. Jay-Z was waiting to meet him on the George Washington Bridge. According to a police report, the hardcore fan nearly hit a police car, asked an officer for directions to Detroit then drove over a sidewalk and grassy area. The cops also noted that the man had flowers and a teddy bear in his car. The guy even asked the police if they were escorting him to New York City as Beyonce agreed to meet him. He was charged with reckless driving, speeding and other traffic offenses.
Beyonce Gets Honored

Beyonce Knowles was the guest of honor at the Diamond Ball and private concert which benefitted the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation recently. The singer was recognized for her charity work and was inducted into the center’s Hall of Fame. Tables at the event went for a whopping $11,000! But hey, it was for a good cause. Beyonce took the stage at the event alongside a 7-year old piano prodigy named Ethan Bortnick who performed to show his appreciation for the hospital treating his younger brother’s problems. Aww! Not so aww though was the fact that Jay-Z wasn’t at the benefit. Maybe it was payback for Beyonce not showing up to his UN awards ceremony.
