Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford has said his friends get jealous when he is around their girlfriends.

The 25-year-old actor plays the role of Nate Archibald in the hit US show and has become a heartthrob with millions of girls around the world.

He said he has only recently become aware of his attractive looks.

Crawford said to Britain’s Esquire magazine: “Some of my friends now are a bit funny when I’m hanging out with them and their girlfriends.

“They just give me that look that says: ‘Chace, don’t even try.’ They’ve no reason not to trust me, but they still give me that look.”

TV host Cat Deeley has reportedly split with her actor boyfriend Jack Huston.

The So You Think You Can Dance? host had been dating the actor, who has a small role in Twilight sequel Eclipse, for two years but friends claim he dumped her last month.

A pal said to Britain’s Closer magazine: “Jack loves the success of Twilight, and the adoration from female fans. Now he’s thinking his career can only benefit from being single. It was insensitive on Jack’s part, and Cat is pretty upset.”

The friend added: “It’s been a very difficult month for her and there doesn’t seem to be much chance of a reconciliation. She’s considering hiding out in London while all the Twilight premiere craziness is going on in LA.”

Cameron Diaz and rumoured new love interest Alex Rodriguez have reportedly spent a weekend together in Boston.

The New York Yankee, known as A Rod, was in town for a game with the Boston Red Sox and the My Best Friend’s Wedding actress allegedly joined him.

A source told People.com: “They arrived in Boston together via private jet and were whisked to the hotel.”

The couple are said to have stayed at the Liberty Hotel where they allegedly shared a rooftop suite and ordered they ordered room service.

The pair ‘had an incredible time together’ the source added.

The 29-year-old star, who is best known for starring opposite Daniel Craig in Quantum Of Solace, has already been married twice before and said she can see how she’ll end up alone.

She said to UK’s Live magazine: “I think I’ll be single my whole life. It’s entirely possible I’m going to end up alone. Because I don’t want to make any sacrifices for my own development and achieving what I want to achieve, and I don’t want a family to get in the way of that.

“I feel I’m not ready for that and I don’t know if I ever will be. Having people I love around me – friends and family – is great but I don’t necessarily need a relationship.

“And it’s not just about my career; I just don’t feel like settling down.”

Oprah Winfrey has finally revealed why she has never married longtime boyfriend Stedman Graham – because she didn’t want to.

The talk-show host, 56, makes the revelation in the 10th anniversary edition of her magazine, O.

In a special interview with a handful of readers, she was asked how she feels about never having married.

Winfrey replied: “Actually, Stedman asked me to marry him and, at first, I said yes. But it turned out that I wanted to be asked to be married more than I wanted to be married.”

Winfrey revealed that Graham proposed to her 17 years ago in 1993 – the same year that she announced she was to write her autobiography in time for her 40th birthday.

In the end, she decided to do neither.

She said: “Everybody was going to give me a… [bridal] shower. And I was saying, ‘I don’t want this, I don’t want this’… It just felt like the wrong thing for me.

“This was at the same time I was supposed to have the book coming out… 14 September or something, and our wedding had been scheduled for 8 September. We had a date and everything.”

She added: “So Stedman says, ‘Well, I don’t want to have my wedding in competition with your book’. And I remember thinking, ‘Yes! Really? OK, great!’

“I ended up cancelling both and we have never discussed it since that day.”

Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston has said she tries not to let rumours about her private life ‘bother’ her too much.

Aniston, 41, was most recently linked to Gerard Butler, her co-star in new movie The Bounty Hunter, and said she doesn’t let the constant interest in her personal life bother her.

She said “Oh, I love to read about what my love life is really like! [Laughs] I’ve grown indifferent to all the stories. So much gets written that it begins to turn off the public.

“For a long time, I’ve tried to live as quietly as I can without letting it affect my enjoyment of life.

“I know that being part of this business invites that kind of attention, but I try not to let it bother me and just get on with things.”

George Clooney, who seems born to play the disaffected middle-aged male in Up in the Air, is currently dating a gorgeous Italian MTV presenter, Elisabetta Canalis, 31.

Naturally, there are wedding rumours. But Clooney says he wouldn’t place bets on himself. He said: “I am always working and have so many different interests outside acting. If I was my girlfriend, I wouldn’t put up with me for very long – and they don’t either. People are always trying to marry me off, thinking I am suffering in some way. I tried marriage – and it didn’t work. I have had long relationships with women and they get bored with me working all the time. My fear is that I would still make a lousy husband and I don’t want to put myself – or anyone else – through the pain of finding out.”

It is a little-known fact that Clooney was once married to an actress, Talia Balsam, from 1989 to 1993.

He said that it may have worked out better if he tried it at a more seasoned stage of life. “Have I had doubts? Of course. But I don’t have time to think about them, because I am always travelling and working. Had marriage come later in life, I would probably have understood better how to make it work.”

Sinitta, 42, works closely with Simon, 50, on the hit ITV show and she said she is still in love with him.

She said: “Of course, I love Simon – everyone loves Simon. He’s like my big brother. We’re both very single and happy, I think.”

Simon is good friends with all his ex-girlfriends, and Sinitta said she gets on well with the other girls, too.

She said: “Yes, we were all friends before. I knew Terri [Seymour] for years from when I was dating Simon, and I’ve known Jackie [St Claire] for years, too.

“I think when you get to a certain age, it is like that. It’s more unusual not to have friends that you’ve had for 10 or 15 years.”

Asked how the rumours started, Kristin said to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM show: “I don’t know to be honest. It’s interesting because I’ve met him once for literally five minutes.”

Kristin was then asked if John asked her out and she said: “No… yeah.”

About why she said no, Kristin added: “I just feel that I don’t need to be another notch on his belt.”

She added: “Listen, I think he’s a really nice guy. One of my friends is hanging out with him. I didn’t need to go down that road.”

Bradley Cooper, 34, took the 40-year-old actress to meet his parents at their Philidelphia home.

A source told the National Enquirer: “Brad and Renee drove from New York to Philly so he could show her off to his parents and old friends. They fell in love with her. Renee poured on her Texas charm, even arriving with flowers and a box of cupcakes she picked up at a local bakery for his parents. Hours after the visit, Bradley’s family was on the phone with him, gushing about Renee.”

Cooper, who lives in Los Angeles, is reportedly planning to move closer to Zellweger in NYC. The insider said: “Bradley is already talking about putting down roots in New York, where Renee lives. They just seem happy to have found each other.”

Michelle, 51, stars in new film Cheri where she plays the role of an older woman who has a six-year affair with a younger man, played by Keira Knightley’s boyfriend Rupert Friend.

Talking about the word "Cougar", she said: "I can’t wait for that word to go out of fashion, I just think it’s… I’m so over it. Not that I was ever really into it.

"Where did that start, anyway? How did that evolve? Well, it’s not really what the movie’s about. But if it brings people into the theatre, I’m all for that."

Michelle played the role of the Catwoman in the 1992 film Batman Returns and she admitted she would like to reprise the role but doesn’t see it happening.

Being one of Hollywood’s hottest actresses doesn’t mean she enjoys partying as she admitted she’d prefer to have a night in, she said: "I’m kind of recluse, a hermit."

She added: "I’m not really out that much because I have a great fear of Hollywood. I think you have to be a really strong human being to survive it, especially if you’re a woman.

"So I try to avoid the Hollywood scene and people who enjoy it because I don’t want those people around. I haven’t been to rehab yet, so I think I’m doing something right."

Arterton, 23, was at the Download Festival in Donnington Park, Derby, UK, when she reportedly revealed the news.

A source said: "Gemma seemed really excited and was sharing the good news with people and telling them how over the moon she was.

"He was there with her and they seemed smitten with each other. He looked like he’d make a good James Bond with his tall, dark and handsome looks."

The identity of Arterton’s fiance is unknown. She split with her previous boyfriend, Spanish stuntman Eduardo Munoz, in December.

Kruger, 32, who is dating Dawson’s Creek actor Joshua Jackson, 30, said: “When I was younger – it might be a romantic idea – I always thought I might go crazy.”

She added: “There were times in my life when I had my heart broken so badly that I wasn’t able to leave the house for weeks at a time. Your friends listen to you for a while, and then they’re like: ‘Stop moaning, get over it.’ But sometimes you just can’t. I just felt: ‘God, what a weight on my shoulders!’”"

Former Star Trek actor Patrick Stewart has found himself a Next Generation girlfriend.

The 68-year-old star is reportedly dating a sexy jazz singer – who is less than half his age.

Stewart, who played Captain Jean-Luc Picard, has been spotted out with Sunny Ozell.

At 31, Ozell is young enough to be his grand-daughter and is also younger than his own children from his first marriage, Daniel, 41, and Sophie, 36.

The new couple met last year when Stewart starred as Macbeth on Broadway and at the time he revealed he was seeing a ‘delightful girlfriend’ but refused to name names.

But the couple finally stepped out together at a party in London for the play Waiting For Godot that Stewart is currently appearing in.

However, this is not the first time that X-Men star Stewart has dated a much younger woman.

In 2004, shortly after his three-year second marriage to TV producer Wendy Neuss ended, he began dating actress Lisa Dillon, who was then 25 to Stewart’s 64.

She met the actor when they both starred in a London production of Ibsen’s The Master Builder, about an older man who falls in love with a woman young enough to be his grand-daughter.

Star Trek actor Chris Pine reportedly went out on a date with Audrina Patridge.

It is claimed the pair were seen drinking with friends at the Red Lion Tavern in LA on May 15 and were also seen out on a date two weeks before.

An insider said: “Chris and his girlfriend broke up in March, and he is definitely single.”

The insider added: “They went out, and Audrina is into him.”

The pair reportedly met at Tao in Las Vegas and in early May and an insider said: “They both got awards and were at a dinner with friends. They said a quick hello.”

The insider added: “That’s where they met. Chris was looking at Audrina a lot, and you could tell that he thought she looked pretty – he was intrigued.”

It is claimed Audrina, 24, left his apartment building early the next morning just 10 minutes before Chris, 28, left to board a flight.
