Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he wants to be a dad at some point

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he wants to be a dad and it will be a bigger project than starring in the hit flicks.

The 20-year-old is best known for playing the lead role of wizard Harry Potter in the hit film series and he said his biggest project will be becoming a dad.

He told the BBC: “No man, I’ve got kids to have yet! They’re going to keep me busy if I do – which I hope I do at some point. I’m not planning on it soon – that’s one of the things I’m really looking forward to doing.”

His friend and co-star Rupert Grint, who plays his on-screen best friend Ron, added that it will be scary when filming wraps up on the movies.

He said: “It is quite scary when this all ends because we’re stepping out into the real world – it is quite a bubble I suppose, we’ve had these films to do every year and it’s become quite routine.

“I’m definitely going to miss it. It’s been a great 10 years.”

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe said "God is truly angered" by his new film after stormy weather hit their world premiere.

The premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince recently took place in London and the stars had to walk the red carpet amid thunderstorms and heavy rain.

Daniel, 19, who plays the lead role of Harry Potter, said: "God is truly angered by our film!"

He added: "It’s good, though – I quite like all this stuff because premieres are always thought of as being quite glamorous, and I want to prove that if anyone can do a non-glamorous premiere, I can!"

Last Harry Potter filming in London

Central London was this week abuzz with news that scenes from the final Harry Potter film were being shot there.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final installment in the Harry Potter franchise, based on the mega-successful books written by UK author JK Rowlling.

Daniel Radcliffe returns as the boy wizard Harry, as do his partners in spells Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as Hermione and Ron, respectively.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows will be released in 2010.

The “Harry Potter” star was recently placed on the number one spot of a poll of young entertainers with big bank accounts or potential for it. Daniel Radcliffe was described with the following words: “was plucked from relative obscurity to take on the Harry Potter role and has made the most of the opportunity. As Potter wraps up, he’s clearly just beginning.” So that’s where you get for playing an apprentice wizard. But, then again, Daniel Radliffe’s success is no real surprise. “Harry Potter” has probably made success stories of all its actors, especially the little ones. Big break for them… oh well, life goes on!

Daniel Radcliffe will remove his pants for the movie

The final film of the Harry Potter heptalogy – “Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows” will also feature a scene of Harry Potter without clothes.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe was stunned by the idea, “At first I thought I had pants on. Apparently not”. But he further added, “It is all old hat now, really”.

He will not have much of a problem as he recently removed his trousers on stage for the London West End version of “Equus”. So having done so on stage successfully, he should not have any trouble doing it on screen.

Keep it up Daniel!!! You are the man….

Actor Daniel Radcliffe is not afraid of girls only dating him for his money – because he has already learned how to spot the gold diggers. The Harry Potter star has enjoyed increased female attention since taking on the role as the boy wizard, but insists he can easily spot those who are simply after his $46 million fortune. Oh yeah Radcliffe, bet you that you are telling us a big life here. If that were true then once you have a divorce after getting married then you’ll be telling us ‘I knew she would divorce me, she married me because I have $46 million’ so why did you marry her Radcliffe. Right this guy thinks he’s figured out a big mystery, wait some time you nerd and now that you’ve made this statement there would be girls waiting in line to prove you wrong. Be that extra bit careful now onwards, there could be some girl on her heels waiting to lay you down.
