Get Him To The Greek star Russell Brand has said he wants to have kids with his pop singer fiancee Katy Perry.

Brand, 35, will marry the California Gurls singer, 25, later this year after getting engaged at New Year.

Talking about kids, he said: “I do envisage having kids. I’d love them little guys. I’m envisaging one – it’s a giant kid that’s just pooed all over London!”

Brand, who is reprising his role as rocker Aldous Snow in the new movie opposite Jonah Hill, admitted he has been getting advice on getting wed from pals Noel Gallagher and David Walliams.

He said: “Noel goes: ‘Do what they tell you, just say yes to women’. So I’ve been doing that. And David added: ‘But don’t act like you don’t care about the thing, as though you’re just brushing it off’.”

Television host Kelly Ripa has joked that she and husband Mark Consuelos are “the coolest parents ever!”.

The duo has three children together, with their eldest son Michael recently turning 13. The talk show host has spoken about the challenge of raising a teenager, saying she had been preparing for his adolescence.

“I read all of these books on teenagers, and they tell you all these things that are going to happen, and it all happened,” the 39-year-old told People.com.

“They become surly. They lock themselves in their room. Everything [the parents] do is embarrassing.”

Ripa says she has told Michael: “As far as parents go, we’re the bomb! The coolest parents ever!”

“I feel like he’s been a teenager for the past year already,” Consuelos commented.

Veteran newsman Larry King could not hide his sadness as he told his viewers he was ending his show after 25 years.

The legendary interviewer sounded sombre as he started his nightly show on CNN, confirming he was leaving.

His announcement followed mounting speculation that the news network had already approached both Piers Morgan and Katie Couric as possible replacements.

But King insisted that the decision was totally his, stressing: “There was no pressure from CNN. I love what I do, but it was time.”

Instead, he did not deny that he was leaving his nightly show – the longest running of its kind in news history – because of the marriage woes that saw him recently announcing his divorce before making another stab at it.

The third instalment in the Twilight saga, Eclipse – which was released this week – has already snared one box office record.

The film, which was released on Wednesday, has opened with the widest domestic release in box office history, according to Access Hollywood.

A staggering 4416 cinemas have booked The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, surpassing the previous record-holder Iron Man 2 (4380 theatres) less than two months ago.

There have been midnight and 3am screenings of the movie to meet audience demand, according to reports.

Last November’s second chapter in the series The Twilight Saga: New Moon holds the lead for the best opening day, raking $72.7million (£48.3million), while the film took $142.8million over its opening weekend.

Kim Kardashian’s famous curves are being immortalised in wax.

The reality TV babe is getting her very own waxwork figure at Madame Tussauds in New York.

An excitable Kim previously posted two teasing pictures on her website – showing her getting measured and sitting with markings all over faces.

But yesterday she let out the cat out of the bag and confirmed the news.

“I’m getting my own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in NYC,” the 29-year-old wrote.

“This is one of the greatest honors ever and I am so thrilled and excited.

“Now I will never have to leave NYC… I’ve officially gone bi-coastal.”

Kim also posted a picture of the unfinished mould of her head.

Joan Rivers has said that any gay performer who considers revealing their sexuality would be an “ass” to come out of the closet.

“If you’re going to be a romantic idol and try to get every teenage girl to love you, then you’d be an ass to come out and say you’re gay,” the legendary comedienne told The Advocate.

“That’s why Ricky Martin was so smart – he did what he did, he made his millions, and then he said, ‘Guess what, everybody? I’m gay, I’m having this life, and here are my children.’ It didn’t matter anymore because he didn’t have to bring in 16-year-old girls.”

Sandra Bullock has blamed her divorce from love-rat husband Jesse James on their clashing personalities.

According to US reports the Oscar-winning actress signed court papers citing “discord or conflict of personalities” as the reason for their split.

The explanation could be interpreted as somewhat tongue in cheek given James’ adulterous behaviour.

The 41-year-old biker, who has admitted being a love cheat, allegedly slept with five other women during his five-year marriage to Bullock.

Bullock and James’ divorce was made official on Monday morning when the final paperwork was filed at Travis County Court in Texas.

The documents have been filed under seal, meaning they will not be released to the public.

Matt Damon is set to take a break from Hollywood action films to play an English zookeeper.

The Bourne Ultimatum star will play Benjamin Mee, whose mother sold the family home in Surrey so they could buy Dartmoor Zoo in Devon to stop it going out of business, The Telegraph reported.

At first the owners refused to sell to someone with no experience of running a zoo but Mr Mee managed to convince them after no other buyer could be found and the animals faced being shot.

The family moved into the 12-bedroom house at the estate and slowly got used to living with five Siberian tigers, three African lions, nine wolves, three brown European bears, two pumas, a lynx, four Asian short-clawed otters, two flamingos, a lot of owls and a Brazilian tapir called Ronnie just outside.

The blonde reality TV star was wearing an electric blue dress and Michael looked handsome in a grey suit as the pair danced the night away in Orange County, California.
