Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts to re-team for Larry Crowne

Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts will bring back some of the magic of Charlie Wilson’s War when they join forces on a new movie about middle age.

The upcoming flick, titled Larry Crowne, has been penned by Hanks, who is in his prime at 53.

The Oscar-winning duo’s performance will be hotly anticipated. Roberts most recently shot Eat, Love, Pray in a host of exotic locations. She shot to fame with Erin Brockovich for which she won a Best Actress Oscar.

Larry Crowne promises to tap contemporary America with its tale of a midlife man who is forced to reinvent his career.

Charlie Wilson’s War lit up screens in 2007.

Heidi Klum only flirts with husband Seal

Model Heidi Klum has said she doesn’t flirt with anybody but her husband Seal.

Mum-of-four Klum, 36, who gave birth to daughter Lou four months ago, said she is eternally devoted to her 46-year-old singer hubby.

She said to magazine InStyle: “I don’t flirt. It’s disrespectful to your husband. I would never do that. I’m very devoted, and he’s the same.”

The couple renew their wedding vows every year with a ceremony and she said: “We’re still for a minute and stare into each other’s eyes.”

Despite using her maiden name Klum for her work, she and all her children have taken her husband’s surname so that “my husband, the children, and me, we’re now all one”.

Stars brand Ricky Gervais ‘unbelievably rude’ and an ‘awkward weirdo’

Helen Mirren thinks he will be “unbelievably rude”, Anna Kendrick thinks he’s an “awkward weirdo” but actor Jeff Bridges says he has “no idea” who Ricky Gervais is, days before the comedian hosts the Golden Globes.

The cheeky Brit is due to host the awards ceremony in Beverly Hills this week.

And Gervais, 48, has already promised to tease the star-studded audience.

He says: “I’m going to take the opportunity to roast every actor in the room that’s more successful and better looking than me.”

But Jeff Bridges – up for an award for his part in Crazy Heart – says: “I have no idea who that guy is.”

Some of the town’s hottest actors have told The Envelope – a Los Angeles Times supplement – what they think Gervais will say to them from the stage.

Mirren has been nominated for her part in The Last Station. The 64-year-old says: “He’ll be unbelievably rude about me. He’s a friend. I know him and I like him a lot.”

Kendrick, 24, who is nominated for her role in Up In the Air alongside George Clooney, says: “I can take it. I’m a big fan of The Office so I know he’s an awkward weirdo. He’s a bit unpredictable, isn’t he?”
