Piers Morgan to host TV special on singer Susan Boyle
Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan is to host a TV Guide Network special on singer Susan Boyle.
The 44-year-old was on the panel along with judges Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell when Boyle, 48, first auditioned and came to the world’s entertainment.
He will be presenting the exclusive concert and entertainment special, I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story, which will air December 13 in the US.
The special will show Boyle’s journey from her home town of Blackburn in Scotland to the fame that came with her performance on the hit UK talent show.
Talking of Boyle’s success, Morgan said: “It is very hard to think of anyone in the history of showbusiness who has come from such an extraordinary background as Susan Boyle.
“To be propelled from the complete anonymity of Blackburn to global superstardom and having 300 million people downloading you, it is to me the most extraordinary transformation I’ve ever seen in this business.”
