British Prime Minister Gordon Brown calls actress Reese Witherspoon ‘Renee’

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown got confused when praising actress Reese Witherspoon by calling her Renee.
The 58-year-old thanked Witherspoon, 33, after she gave the keynote speech at a UK press conference asking for the Government to do more for women who have suffered domestic violence.
However, he appeared to get confused and said: “I’m very grateful that Renee Witherspoon is leading this campaign.
“She spoke movingly at the funeral of Anthony Minghella and I welcome her to the House today.”
Brown was a guest at a memorial service for Minghella last year, but it was Bridget Jones star Renee Zellweger who was there and not Witherspoon.
Witherspoon had earlier said: “There is an impenetrable wall of silence around domestic violence. We must all play a part in breaking it.”
