Footballer David Beckham says he finds his son Brooklyn’s homework ‘complicated’ so he sticks to helping him with his reading.
The 34-year-old has three sons with wife Victoria, 35, and Brooklyn, 10, is the oldest. David admitted that Brooklyn’s homework often leaves him puzzled.
Talking about Brooklyn, he said: “I sat down with him the other day to do his homework and I couldn’t understand a word of it. It’s so complicated that I just help him with his reading.”
David added that he and Victoria let their son have a pet as a reward for doing well at school.
He added: “We promised him recently that if he got three As we’d buy him a bearded dragon lizard, which is my worst nightmare. He came home from school the other day and handed me three sheets of papers with three As on them, so we had to go to Petco.
“Our house is full of wildlife at the moment – crickets, lizards, and all sorts but they deserve it. Brooklyn works hard at school and then does an hour-and-a-half of homework every night.”
