The doctor at the centre of the Michael Jackson investigation made an emotional plea to a church congregation Sunday morning, according to reports.

RadarOnline claims that Dr Conrad Murray walked up to the pulpit at the Antioch Baptist Church in Houston and emotionally asked his fellow worshippers for their prayers.

“Dr Murray told the congregation he wanted their support,” a source told Radar.

“He said he wanted to assure them he was doing fine, and he asked for their prayers for the journey he has ahead.”

Miranda Sezcik, a spokesperson for Murray’s lawyer Edward Chernoff, revealed to RadarOnline: “There wasn’t a dry eye in the church.”

Murray was Jackson’s personal physician and administered the anaesthetic Propofol to him at his house.

LA coroners ruled Jackson’s June 25 death as a homicide, while the LAPD are continuing to investigate Murray’s involvement with the King of Pop’s death.
