No more drumming for Phil Collins

The former singer and drummer of Genesis is apparently letting go of the sticks for a while. Phil Collins had some surgery recently to fix a dislocated vertebra in his neck so he doesn’t have any feeling in his fingers anymore, but he’s still going to be recording. And he also gave some insight on the upcoming material: “I want the songs to sound exactly like the originals.” They probably won’t since Phil Collins won’t be doing the drumming anymore, but it will all probably sell just as well. It’s the name on the cover that really gives the value isn’t it, not the music itself.
