Robert De Niro sued

Hollywood great Robert De Niro is being sued by a former nanny for non-payment of dues in tune of over $40,000 for overtime work. The nanny whose name is Alexis Barry has mentioned in the filed documents that she worked for the star and his wife, Grace Hightower in 2006 and it was agreed that a sum of $46.88/hour would be paid for overtime.

The nanny was there to take care of the couple’s son Elliot who is now aged 11. Barry in her papers filed with the New York’s Manhattan Supreme Court has claimed that she complete 750 hour of extra time work in the 10 months she was employed with the couple and also never was granted 10 days vacation time as agreed with her employers.

You know I think of all this seems true to me because we do have filthy rich people who are not willing to pay their employees their due forget an extra dime and then you have cases like the AIG where corporate bosses get millions in perks and bonuses all from the tax payers money.

Wow this country sets such prime example of being the land of dreams and you never know what luck and fate might have in store for you, would you the nanny who never got her time’s worth or some corporate boss who never had to earn his money.
