CSI: Miami star David Caruso can now say goodbye to both his trademark sunglasses and of course his stalker. David Caruso stalker Heidimarie Schnitzer has been nabbed by lawmen in Tijuana, Mexico after years of evading the authorities. The stalker sent more than 100 letters to David Caruso and even threatened to kill him after the star refused to give her an autograph.
Heidimarie Schnitzer has a standing warrant of arrest after she was charged in 2007 with stalking and for threatening murder. The Austrian authorities have been looking for her after she failed to appear in a scheduled court hearing but her identity was not divulged following Austria?s privacy laws. If convicted, the 40-year old fan can face up to three years in prison. Heidimarie Schnitzer is being held in custody until after a judgment is reached.
