Joaquin Phoenix went on The Late Show with David Letterman last week to promote his latest, and supposedly last movie, ‘Two Lovers’. The 34-year old actor kept his head down during most of the interview and wasn’t very chatty. He even forgot his co-star’s name, Gwyneth Paltrow. Between the many awkward silences, Dave poked fun at Joaquin’s new look asking “What can you tell us about your days with the Unabomber?” He does many more odd things including laughing out loud after saying he’s recording more hip hop music an sticking his gum under Dave’s desk. At the end of the interview, Dave said “Joaquin, I’m sorry you couldn’t be here tonight.”

Charges have been filed against R&B singer Chris Brown and he is to appear in court the in month of March for alleged domestic violence but now that he has been released by the police the star singer is approaching life in a new way.

He is “sorry & saddened” by his arrest and actions and is seeking counseling. In a statement released by him he says that currently he was being counseled by his pastor while his family too were actively involved in counseling him. That he was committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.

He says, “words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired”. Well when someone regrets one’s action so much it shows that somewhere there is a feeling of understanding that what happened was wrong and that’s the first step towards being forgiven by God.

But that my friend will not help you escape from the clutches of law, you have committed a crime and you will have to pay for that. So stop the crap and get ready to face the chin music.
