The Dark Knight is the clear winner in People’s Choice Awards

At the Holy People’s Choice Awards, Batman! “The Dark Knight” has emerged as the clear winner, winning every major trophy it was nominated for at the 35th annual fan-favorite CBS ceremony. The movie was the biggest blockbuster of 2008 and it bagged five awards, including favorite cast, superhero, action movie and on-screen match up for Christian Bale’s Batman and the late Heath Ledger’s Joker.

Queen Latifah hosted the CBS ceremony and the even made a comeback to the Shrine Auditorium where the costmary live show format was again seen and there were a galaxy of stars such as Reese Witherspoon, Adam Sandler, Robin Williams, Kate Hudson & Hugh Laurie showed up to accept their awards at the slightly subdued ceremony.

Well there is no doubting that Dark Night is everyone’s favorite movie of 2008 and as awards keeping pouring in for this swell movie people would be returning to the theaters once more to watch the flick if their pocket allows them to do so.

I don’t know what the difference is between “favorite male star” and “favorite leading man” but the two choices of Smith and Pitt were both excellent and interchangeable.
