The Jonas Brothers recently blogged about dating. It seemed more like answers to frequently asked questions. They were asked if they would ever date a fan or if they have dated someone who’s not famous. The brothers anwered “The answer is YES. We have already dated fans or girls that are not celebrities. In fact, we really like to believe that the girl we will spend our lives with will be our biggest ‘fan’.” They also answered the question as to whether they re dating or have dated [fill in the name] to which they answered “It is our rule to not talk about our personal lives, especially who we are dating. The same would be true if we were dating you.” There you go you little teenies. You still have your chance regardless if you’ve heard that this brother was dating this pretty young thing.

Alicia Keys Break Up a Marriage

According to a new report, Alicia Keys could be named as the other woman in the divorce of hip hop producer Swizz Beatz and R&B singer Mashonda. The soon-to-be former Mrs. Swizz apparently lost it when she heard about the birthday party that Alicia threw for Swizz at the Manhattan Louis Vuitton store last week. A friend of the producer told the media “His relationship with Alicia began after their separation. He hasn’t kept it a secret. He still has great love for Mashonda and has promised to take care of her and their son and support her career.” Mashonda says otherwise though. A friend says “Mashonda has had enough. She put her career on hold to be a wife and mother. She’s tired of pretending she’s deaf, dumb and blind to what’s going on.

Yoko Ono and Paul McCartney Agree

Go back several decades and you would never guess that you’ll be able to say that Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono will agree on something, but they do. The UK’s Daily Mirror reports that Paul and Yoko are furious after a new book they helped with asserts that John Lennon wanted a gay relationship with his aforementioned band mate. The claim appears in the book ‘John Lennon: The Life’ which was written by “respected” Beatles author Philip Norman. Both Paul and Yoko took part in interviews for the book. After the claim leaked, Yoko and Paul reportedly distanced themselves from it and withdrawn endorsement. A source told the rag “Both Sir Paul and Yoko are extremely angry and upset.”

Britney Spears seems to have impressed her RCA bosses so much that they are pushing for her next album to be released before the year ends. According to a source who spoke to The Sun “Britney’s last album ‘Blackout’ was released in the middle of her meltdown and carried negative associations. It did OK but wasn’t as big as her previous releases. Label chiefs vowed her private life would never be allowed to overshadow her career again. However, they’ve been astonished by how well she’s managed to piece her life back together.” Label bosses are reportedly planning to release a single in November and then have a big re-launch in December with the album and a couple of live shows.

NSYNC Does NKOTB

I find it surprising how successful the New Kids on the Block reunion was. It may get a couple other boy bands in the reunion business so don’t be surprised if NSYNC made a comeback – even Lance Bass said so. In a recent interview, the former boy band member said that the odds were good for a reunion. Justin Timberlake may not need it but he may do it if even just for kicks. Lance said “We’re definitely itching to do some music. We’ve always discussed it. It’s always a possibility and we still owe some records to the record companies. I’m serious!” As for a timeline for their reunion, Lance says that it could be as quick as next year saying “It could be possibly a year, it could be five years from now. Depends on everyone’s schedules kind of aligning together.”

It’s painful enough that we have to be subjected to a country wannabe but the 28-year old singer just had to hurt us even more by stopping mid-way through her song ‘With You’ and starting all over. She said “Hold on! I know this is live TV, but I can’t hear anything. Do it again!” The crowd, which barely filled the space that the show barricaded off, was silent during the weird moment until Jessica counted the band down to start again.

JK Rowling takes another victim

Earlier this month, J.K. Rowling won a lawsuit against two Michigan men who were trying to publish a book based on their Harry Potter Lexicon website.
Unfortunately for them, the judge decided in Rowling’s favor stating that it violated her copyright and added that she “had proven that Steven Vander Ark’s Harry Potter Lexicon would cause her irreparable harm as a writer.”
However, there are some things don’t end that easily.
The two guys are at it again! Stupid!
According to reports, their attorneys are expected to file a notice of appeal this week, preserving their right to continue the legal battle for the ability to publish the book.
The writers have offered to revise the book and remove any offending or copyrighted passages, but that’s not good enough for Rowling and WB.
According to reports, after Steven Vander Ark founded his site, “he gained international fame as one of the most diligent students of the seven Potter novels. He spoke to adoring crowds of Potter fans at conventions around the globe. He was respected as an authority on the details of the Potter canon, including the genealogies of the many characters, the uses of hundreds of curses and the characteristics of dozens of magical creatures featured in the books. But since Rowling accused Vander Ark of stealing her creative work, legions of Potter fans have turned against him.”
Vander Ark did say, “I’ve always been very much willing to work with [Rowling and WB] and try to see what can be done.”
This is going to be a tough battle until the very end.

Audrina Patridge, a “star” from the “hit reality show” The Hills will be starring alongside alongside Briana Evigan and Rumer Willis in Stewart Hendler’s remake of the 1983 slasher flick where a mysterious stalker pursues a group of girls after an innocent prank ends in murder and secrets.
If Paris Hilton could manage a believable performance then I’m pretty sure Audrina will be perfect for the role.

I have had heard that before, from Eva herself!
So why did Felicity feel the need to talk about her co-star? Is she seeking a little attention?

In addition to her newfound baby bump, Longoria will also wear a fat suit to play an overworked housewife five years in the storyline’s future. She told People that Longoria looks “cute” in the suit, inviting the folks on set to feel her new booty.

The labor pains must have been the same like the “metaphysical kind of labor,” which is experienced by the marvelous Meg Ryan.

The 46-year-old actress, who has a 16-year-old son with her ex-husband Dennis Quaid, shared her experience of adopting a Chinese baby doll Daisy True in 2006.

Interestingly, she said that adopting a child has many resemblances to natural birth, with all the same emotions.

She said, “It’s such a deliberate act, this adoption, as opposed to getting pregnant sometimes. You have to be very, very awake.”

I can only pray that there were no sexual emotions involved before getting the child adopted and no Chinese man has made Ryan “virtually pregnant.”

Barack Obama Cancels on SNL

Barack Obama, at the last minute, pulls out of his appearance to on Saturday Night Live due to Hurricane Ike.

The Democratic Presidential nominee’s spokesperson, Jen Psaki, told the Associated Press that the nominee did not feel it was appropriate for him to appear on the show after the strong hurricane hit Texas.

“If it’s serious, it will change everything for us,” the show’s creator and producer Lorne Michaels told Politco on Friday.  “The tone of the show will shift, and it would be inappropriate for the senator to do if it looks in any way like it’s going to be a tragedy.”

According to the AP report, Obama also toned down a scheduled rally in New Hampshire in the wake of the hurricane, and plans to return to Chicago after his campaign event where he will spend the weekend at home.

That sucks, I was waiting for him to appear on the show!  Oh, well.

Extract, which also stars Mila Kunis, is a comedy that follows the personal and professional problems endured by the owner of a flower-extract plant. Arrested Development’s Jason Bateman plays the owner of a flower-extract plant and Affleck plays the best friend of Bateman’s character.

According to news reports, a New York judge has junked several lawsuits brought by some of the unsuspecting citizens who claim they have been victimized by Sacha Baron Cohen’s fictitional character, Bora. As we all remember, Cohen created a fake documentary called Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

The Baltimore-based driver’s education teacher who, in the film, gets behind the wheel with Borat and two etiquette coaches (including the one who had to explain that human feces belong in the toilet, not at the dinner table) each sued Cohen and 20th Century Fox for allegedly engaging in fraudulent tactics to get them to appear on film.

Really? I thought they were suing them because the film showed their stupidity? Because really, who didn’t look stupid in his film?
