Britney Spears Taken To Hospital

Early Thursday morning, Britney Spears was removed from her home and taken by ambulance to the hospital. She was escorted by more than a dozen cops, including motorcycles and helicopters.

A spokesperson for the L.A.P.D. said Britney was being taken to “get help” but he wouldn’t tell where she was going. This information was found later. It is reported in the L.A. Times that she is being held on a “mental evaluation hold”. Friend Sam Lufti says she is in a 5150 psychiatric hold which means she was found to be a danger to herself and/or others.

This is the second time police were called to the Spears home in the last week. They had to remove paparazzi who were trespassing on Monday. This is just one of numerous events that have occurred during Britney’s downward spiral since splitting with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

How this will affect her custody battle for her sons is unknown at this time.

Christian Brando Dies

It was reported earlier this week that Christian Brando had been hospitalized at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center with pneumonia. He was reported to have been improving and expected to make a full recovery.

New reports state that he passed away Saturday morning at 1:47 a.m. from complications. Further information will be released at a later time.

Christian was 49 years old. He was Marlon Brando’s oldest son.

Lindsay Lohan wants revenge

The father of Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan has vowed to take revenge on the man that formerly supplied his 21-year-old daughter with cocaine. Michael Lohan - himself a former addict who is now involved with youth ministry Teen Challenges - is determined to get even with a man who is now offering his story to the highest bidder.

Michael said: “God is going to get even with this guy. He’s destroyed a lot of lives. “I’ve been looking for the people who’ve been selling my daughter and these other kids the drugs. And come hell or high water, one day I’m going to find these guys and I’m going to expose them.”

Lindsay Lohan was arrested twice last year on driving under the influence (DUI) charges and pleaded guilty in August to misdemeanour DUI and cocaine possession. She later spent two months in rehab at Utah’s Cirque Lodge.

Well all I can say is I wouldn’t want to be in the dealers shoes – no wrath is worse than that of a parent’s.

Living Dead - Amy Winehouse

The jailed husband of junkie singer Amy Winehouse has warned her: “Quit smoking crack or you’ll be dead in three months.”

Speaking from behind bars in Pentonville prison, Blake Fielder-Civil revealed his biggest nightmare is hearing Amy has been killed by her habit. He said: “Every day I fear the prison chaplain is going to walk into my cell and break the news that Amy is dead.”

The Back To Black singer, 24, went into rehab on Thursday just days after a shocking video was released of her smoking deadly crack at her seedy flat in Bow, east London, while already high on cocaine, ecstasy and valium.

Blake, 25, talking to the press through his devoted mum Georgette, said: “I’m so relieved she has finally taken my advice after I begged her to go into rehab. I even threatened her with divorce because I thought it would be the only thing to make her see sense. My parents have both pleaded with me to divorce Amy and I told her so before she finally agreed to go in for treatment. They think she’s the Black Widow who will be the death of me if I don’t end our marriage. But I’d prefer to have a short life with Amy than a long life without her.”

Well I think the bookies are taking bets on whether Amy will last till summer…cheerful huh?

Brit back with Adnan

Despite claims that troubled Britney Spears had ditched paparazzo Adnan Ghalib after reports he was “milking” the relationship; the couple have been snapped looking far from over.

New photographs show the unlikely couple enjoying a romantic evening at a Greek restaurant on Tuesday night. So much for that restraining order, eh Britney?

However their night was brought to a bit of an abrupt end, after Adnan drove Britney’s car into an unsuspecting motorcyclist. While the motorcyclist was unhurt; Britney’s white Mercedes SL had a severe dent on the left hand side.

The incident came just hours after Adnan went public with the ‘truth’ about his romance with Britney on American news show The Insider on Tuesday night. Despite Britney’s friends claiming Brit had dumped the snapper over the weekend, Adnan claims their fling never actually ended.

Who knows what’s going on…I doubt even Britney does!

Ledger’s Joker Debut Still Planned

Many don’t realize it, but Heath Ledger recently revived the role of Jack Nicholson’s The Joker in a new Batman film.

In the light of Heath’s tragic death, rumors are flying that the date for the film’s release will be changed. A rep for Warner Brothers, however, says, “It’s safe to assume the movie will open on July 18. We haven’t heard otherwise.”

Sheen Custody Battle

You think the family court people are thrilled to be seeing someone other than Britney and K-Fed? Maybe so. Who’s up this time? Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards.

Maybe I don’t know the whole story, but it seems a bit selfish to me. Denise Richards wants to be in a reality television show, and she wants the cast to include the couple’s daughters, Sam (age 3) and Lola (age 2). However, Charlie is very much against this.

Since he won’t give in, Denise has decided to take him to court and seek to have his parental rights revoked from being involved in this decision. This is not the first time the couple has had custody issues.

I can’t say that I blame him for not wanting his daughter’s on television. Denise, your argument?

Jennifer Busts Out

While she has been the model of perfection even after her split with Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston has been lacking a little. In her new movie Traveling, however, she is quite good at showing off her assets. Umm, and they seem a little plumped up.

Jen is no stranger to plastic surgery, having admitted previously to a nose job. However, she isn’t admitting to a boob job yet. She says, “It’s still mine. All of it.”

She isn’t quite sure how to get people to stop accusing her of enhancement. She says, “short of letting everybody have a feel, I don’t know what else to do.”

You know, Jen, if you’re offering, we’ll help ya out with that.

Brody Jenner: No Kiss for Paris

Decide for yourself based on the photos, but Brody Jenner is insistant that he’s never made out with Paris Hilton.

The pictures were taken on New Year’s Eve at a party in Las Vegas. Some pics show Brody dressed in a gray shirt and a white cap, and other pics show Paris smooching on a guy dressed in the exact same outfit. Hmm…

I have to play devil’s advocate here, though, and say it COULD be him and he COULD be just listening to something she’s whispering. Who knows?

Brody, why you wanna lie? Oh, it’s because of the girlfriend. Yes, he admits to having one. He says, “I’m not allowed to talk about it, but yes I do have a girlfriend and no her name is not Lauren Conrad.”

Britney’s personalities…

It has come to light that a terrifying multiple personality disorder in which she inhabits four distinct identities plagues Britney Spears. Reports emerging from the states claim the troubled star is considerably more disturbed than first thought.

Sources say that the erratic star assumes completely new characters at random and cannot remember her actions when in ‘character’. They go on to claim at any one time she could be “the British girl, the weepy girl, the diva or the incoherent girl.” It’s said the reason she failed to turn up to her most recent deposition was because she had become the British girl for the day and had no recollection of the appointment

Britney however claims she is having ‘great fun’. After getting designer shop Kitson to open for her in the middle of the night, the singer told a journalist pal on the phone, “I’m great! I’m really happy.”

Spears is said to have spent $10,000 in the designer shop walking away with a slew of items, including a blue Great China Wall sweatshirt, a bottle of Agent Provocateur perfume, a L.A.M.B. handbag and a Blue Anchor hoodie.

And after being snapped browsing for pregnancy kits earlier this week teasing Brit has taken her bizarre relationship with the paparazzi one stage further by proudly sporting a ring on her engagement finger.

Sources in the states say there’s little likelihood of her actually being engaged, but speculation surrounding her marital intentions is something the star will do little to dampen.

Kylie’s Bodyguard Isn’t Nice

Kylie Minogue’s bodyguard isn’t the nicest of people. When Kylie recently arrived at LAX airport after a long flight from Australia, the singer was in very good spirits and even signed autographs for fans and posed for several pictures. Her bodyguard, on the other hand, was her complete opposite and was a total grouch.

As the petite singer made her way to a car, the bodyguard got into it twice with a female paparazzi who he thought got a little too close. Looks like someone didn’t get a wink of sleep on the plane. Learn to take a chill pill dude.

Brad and Angelina - Normal?

So you’ve seen the pics that show Brad and Angelina allowing their children to be normal and enjoy a little junk food? If not, well, it ranges from hot dogs to Lays potato chips. Heaven forgive them for allowing a little reality to seep into their fairytale lives.

Now the family has taken some time to enjoy everyone’s favorite childhood restaurant. Brangelina took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for a day of pizza, fun, and games.

I think it’s awesome that they are willing to try and be regular parents. We all hit the fast food, so why should’t they?

Britney Revisits The Aisle

Except this time, it’s the aisle of a car lot.

Apparently she decided that her old wedding dress had spent enough time in her trunk. Or maybe she just forgot when it was that she wore it. Either way, Britney headed out Friday afternoon, wearing the lacy frock that she wore in her 2004 wedding to Kevin Federline.

Instead of K-Fed, her companion is current fling Adnan Ghalib, a member of the very paparazzi that photographed Britney’s past nuptials. Instead of a wedding chapel, the two walked around the Keyes Mercedes-Benz dealership in San Fernando Valley. Apparently Ghalib was shopping for a new car.

Maybe when he said, “Let’s go for a test drive,” Britney thought that meant as a married couple. Oops, she did it again.

Sharon Stone Isn’t Catty

Despite the fact that she looked the part, Sharon Stone refused to pull out her claws and swipe back at Halle Berry.

Apparently Halle felt the need to critique Sharon’s performance in Catwoman by saying that th movie needed a “stronger villian”. Sharon, ever the proper lady, refused to comment back except to say that she liked the movie and thought Halle was great in it.

It’s nice to see someone say something nice about another person once in a while.

Dr. Phil Blabs Against Spears Family Wishes

I guess doctor/patient privileges don’t matter when you aren’t a “real” doctor in the first place. At least I assume that was the case when Dr. Phil blabbed all over about Britney Spears.

Now the Spears family is upset because he “violated their trust” by talking to the media about his meeting with Britney and his planned television special. The family’s spokeserson Lou Taylor showed up on The Today Show to discuss it Wednesday.

Taylor said, “What’s wrong with Dr. Phil’s statement is that he made a statement.” He felt that Dr. Phil never should’ve told the public that Britney was “in dire need of medical and psychological intervention.”

No word from Dr. Phil about his side of this argument. We’ll see….could he, too, have been trying to just steal a few minutes in the spotlight?

No Baby for Eva Longoria Parker

Despite recent pics of the star covering a suspected baby bump, Eva Longoria Parker denies pregnancy rumors. She says she was just covering up a little bloated tummy….not evidence of a baby. This is the second time recently that she’s had to deny such rumors. Back in October Eva also had to convince the world that she wasn’t expecting with husband Tony Parker. She also says there’s no baby on the way for her Desperate Housewives character either. “Not for me, and not for Gabrielle.” It would be a beautiful baby, though!

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Returns to The View

She had baby number two in November and returned from maternity leave, baby-in-tow. Elisabeth walked out on stage carrying her son, and the first segment was spent discussing life with two children.

Elisabeth returns to the show with cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sherri Shepherd. Shortly after the second segment began, she left the stage to take Taylor to someone else and then returned. He joined her again in the last ten minutes.

Must be nice to take your kids to work!

Nicole Kidman is thrilled at baby news

The rumours have finally been confirmed; Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman is expecting her first child with husband Keith Urban. Despite claims a week ago by her representatives that the pregnancy rumours were just gossip; Nicole and Keith announced in a statement that they are ‘thrilled’ with the news.

Kidman has reportedly dropped plans to shoot a major new movie in Germany in order to protect the health of her unborn child after suffering miscarriages in the past.

Nicole has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise but this will be her first biological child. Rumours have been circulating for a few weeks and now they have been confirmed all we wish for the actress is happiness and good luck.

Britney Leaves L.A. With Paparazzi

After being released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, it didn’t take Britney long to boot scoot out of L.A. And she didn’t do it alone either.

Early Sunday morning, Britney was seen with recent-companion Adnan Ghalib. The two, celebrity and paparazzi, were spotted going into The Daily Grill in Palm Desert. From then on, they spent a lot of time together.

The restaurant manager said Britney was “in a really good mood, laughing with the guy she was with.” She enjoyed a champagne mimosa, probably celebrating her recent hospital release and recovery from the meltdown.

Reports also say the two later checked into a hotel together. Quick comeback, huh?

Brad Takes the Family Home

Brangelina and kids spent some time with relatives in Springfield, Missouri, last week. They attended a family gathering at local restaurant Arris’ Pizza. The event included Brad’s bunch, his parents, his two siblings, their spouses, and a total of 11 children.

Brad and his family appreciate the low-key nature of Springfield. They like going there because they aren’t hassled by fans and are given the chance to spend some quality family time together.

Britney’s Custody Dispute

In what could be a turn for the very worst, LAPD has been called to Britney Spears’ house in Beverly Hills for what is being called as a “family custody dispute”. A source from the LAPD says that a call came in around 8 PM PT on Thursday.

KFed’s bodyguards reportedly went to pick up the boys at Britney’s home after their scheduled visitation but the pop wreck refused to turn the kids over. Police were then called. Britney reportedly locked herself and Jayden James in the bathroom. Ambulance, fire trucks and several police cars littered the estate. One person on the ground described the situation as ‘scary’.

Paris wild for the girls

Last time we spoke about Paris was when her rumoured ‘friendship’ with pal Britney’s ex husband seemed to be blooming. But perhaps us gossip mongers jumped the gun slightly. Paris’s behaviour on a recent night out suggests that K-Fed is the wrong sex to keep her interested.

The hotel heiress was seen dancing the night away in LAX nightclub in a black figure hugging dress, downing champagne like water and snogging her girl pal in between throwing handfuls of dollar bills in the air.

She also kept the boys happy; determined to keep the New Year celebrations going for a few more days the socialite performed a titillating table dance in the club.

I guess Paris is turning a blind eye to the news that her inheritance from the infamous hotel chain is to be greatly reduced…from 100 million to approximately 5 million.

Britney No Shows

People have come to learn that Britney Spears is one big flake. And wouldn’t you know it? She flaked on another scheduled deposition on Wednesday when she chose to not show her face again. If I counted correctly, this is the fifth time that her scheduled deposition in the custody case didn’t happen.

Sources say that the fact that she didn’t show for her depo was a factor in her lawyers’ decision to file papers asking to withdraw as counsel, but it was only one of many reasons. One source close to the pop wreck says that “Her whole life has become insane and it’s impossible for anyone to get through to her.”

Sting has a Fetish

He is rumored to be a master of tantric sex but I never knew that it necessarily includes any fetishes. It seems as if he does though when Sting was spotted giving his wife Trudie Styler a little foot foreplay while on vacation. Want some toast with that jam?

The rocker and his wife were spotted being all lovey-dovey aboard the Phoenix 1 in Sydney Harbor this past weekend when the Police front man decided to go in for a nibble. While it may be a disturbing sight for some, it’s quite nice to see that there’s still a spark of romance and passion between the long-time couple.

Jennifer Lopez is emotional wreck

Pregnancy is renowned for tearing away a woman’s ability to control her emotions. And it’s the same for everyone. Tall, short, old, young, normal or superstar – part of bearing child is accepting that crying over absolutely everything is perfectly normal behaviour.

So it’s no surprise that the gorgeous Jennifer Lopez is struggling with the emotional side of pregnancy. It shows she is a normal human being after all. The Latina beauty is expecting her first child with husband Marc Anthony, and admits she is finding it difficult not to burst into tears at any given opportunity.

She says, “Anything that is touching makes me cry - any commercial that is sappy and silly. Things about dads make me cry, maybe because of my relationship with my own father. But anytime I see anything about a dad with his little girl, and I’m over tired, I’m gone!”

Just another example of how the rich and famous do still deal with the same things we have to. Jen had better get used to it as she is not due until Spring 2008.
