The house of Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea has burned down. Confused? Me too. Reports came out that his house burned down but then radio reports and a statement from his manager say that it didn’t and now it’s down to ashes again. Here’s the case: Flea owns two homes in California and one of them did burn down. The one that did burn down is a French country-style home that he rents out and was actually on sale for $4.8 million. The home that didn’t burn is Flea’s current Malibu home worth $10 million.

53 homes have already been destroyed in the most recent Malibu fire and 5,900 acres have burned which has caused $100 million in damages.
