Joe Simpson was the first to comment about his daughter Ashlee’s transformation over the past few years, more notably, her nose job. By most accounts, Ashlee has blossomed and is more attractive than when she first busted into the scene. However, one ex doesn’t agree.

Nick Carter was on the ‘Johnjay and Rich’ show in Phoenix a few days ago and he did not have any kind words to say about the transformation. “She looks plastic as hell … she went to the factory and got a whole new face.”

I say he was just bitter that she wasn’t that good looking when they were together.

Angelina Jolie Blasts Military Spending

The star spoke about the funding needed to improve the lives of the millions of refugees in war torn countries. She said, “To put things into perspective and maybe help to understand why we maybe need to adjust the way we’re doing things in the world, the conflict in Iraq has displaced over four million people.” Perhaps we shouldn’t arm our troops either. That should save a bundle to benefit the refugees. Perhaps she has forgotten our troops are there to keep USA safe and to protect the innocent civilians of Iraq. Maybe she should get her priorities straight. I know she is pretty much influential be it politics in Hollywood or politics in America and the world, but she has to realize that the people of this country are such much susceptible to terrorist attacks as anywhere else in the world and to be true we are more in the firing line. So we need to spend on our forces and be vigilant on the threats that can pose to us.

Cameron Diaz Offers Green Tips In Issue Of National Geographic Kids

Paris Hilton Plans Trip to Rwanda

It’s not the typical sort of hot spot she’s used to, but Paris Hilton says that she’s planning to hit the road to Rwanda.

Apparently making good on her post-jail promise to help others, the socialite, 26, tells E! Online about her African ambitions, “I’ll be going in November, after I get back from filming my movie. There’s so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help.”

“I want to visit more countries where poverty and children’s issues are a big concern,” she says. “I know there’s a lot of good I can do just by getting involved and bringing attention to these issues.”

Hilton reportedly will visit Rwanda at the invitation of Scott Lazerson, whose year-old Playing for Good charity assists celebrities and high-profile business personalities in getting involved with organizations that benefit those in need.

Hilton’s Rwanda trip will also cap a busy September, during which she’s been in Toronto filming her upcoming movie Repo! The Genetic Opera, partying at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas and hitting a slew of Emmy parties in Los Angeles.

The unattached Hilton, who recently has been seen with Entourage star Adrian Grenier, insists that the actor is not a romantic interest.

All this week she’s been spotted with Alex Vaggo, a model-esque Swede.

Li Lianjie, known more commonly as Jet Li, today is one of Hollywood’s leading martial arts movie stars and Red Cross Society ambassador, together with Princess Ubol Ratana Ratchakaya Siriwattana Pannawadi of Thailand announced a joint charity project in Beijing on Tuesday. As a first of its kind, the One Foundation highlights proper guidelines for juveniles, reaching out a helping hand to youngsters suffering from mental illness. Whatever these celebrities chose to do in the field charity it is really something that the world must appreciate, if all celebrities choose to embrace countries that have hungry children and hog the limelight for the miniscule amount of work they do and then disappear even more quickly then what will happen to the other areas where help is as much needed. What ever issues that they want to work for have to be close to their heart’s coz that’s when they feeling about the issues as strongly as the attention required to generate and mobilize funds and awareness for mental diseases.

Phil Spector judge gets online threat

An Internet posting that appeared to threaten the judge in Phil Spector’s murder trial has become the latest twist in the lurid court case.

y was set to enter its 12th day of deliberations Wednesday, a day after court officials disclosed the MySpace.com posting that stated “I love Phil Spector” and “The Evil Judge should DIE!!!!.”

The posting was on a MySpace Web page called “Team Spector,” said Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. It was subsequently taken down, Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said.

Sheriff’s investigators were looking into the messages, which were signed “xoxo Chelle,” according to Parachini. Spector’s wife is named Rachelle, but one of his defense attorneys, Christopher Plourd, said she denied having anything to do with the notes.

The 67-year-old music producer is charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 3, 2003, death of actress Lana Clarkson, 40.

Clarkson was killed by a gunshot fired in her mouth as she sat in the foyer of Spector’s Alhambra mansion after meeting him at her job as a nightclub hostess and going home with him for a drink. The defense contended Clarkson was depressed and the shot was self-inflicted, either an accident or a suicide.

The case went to the jury on Sept. 10 and the jury foreman told the judge on Sept. 18 that the panel was deadlocked 7-5. After two days of debate among attorneys, the judge revised the jury instructions and the panel resumed talks late on Sept. 20. In addition to those interruptions, the jury has not deliberated on weekends.

Spector emerged on the music scene in the late 1950s and became a top producer using a hit-making recording technique that became known as the “Wall of Sound.” Clarkson was best known as the star of Roger Corman’s 1985 cult film “Barbarian Queen.”

Charlie Attacks Denise’s “Diabolical” Claims

Despite his vow not to “dignify garbage” by responding to his ex-wife’s accusations, Charlie Sheen isn’t done adding to the pile of he-said, she-said. I don’t know about diabolical, nutty as a fruitcake comes to mind. It’s such a slow news day that George Clooney talking about his deceased pig is making headlines. Clooney was so upset about the loss of his “best friend” Max that he has vowed never to replace him. He says, “You can’t replace a good pig like that.” Awww…his pig died. That’s so sad. By his own words it seems that Hollywood’s most wanted bachelor really liked a pig, you woman out there are not doing your basics correctly and especially his girlfriend must be a true let down in the bed and while at parties with him. Now whose going give him company in the bed at nights, our lovely hunk would this way need a nice little pig very soon or else things could get chaotic for the actor. Blokes forgive me for speaking so much about his dead pig but have to have some heart and feel bad for Clooney here; after all he’s lost a friend.

Oh no! O.J. Simpson is free again! Simpson was freed on $125,000 bail after spending 3 days in the slammer in Nevada. Hail the great American judiciary that always lets the rich and famous guilty culprits go away scot-free and punish the humble, poor and innocent citizen of its country. I think O.J. can now and in a few years time write a book on – The great tricks of fooling the American judiciary and another biography of himself detailing about his ‘Great Escapes – Fooling the Cops At Mid-night’. The charges that Simpson faces include kidnapping, robbery, burglary and assault with a deadly weapon. I mean that this episode will give hundreds the confidence that they too could get away by fooling the cops and may even seek to make O.J. their new guru and ask him what trick they should imply during their attempt at robbery. What a joke, this guy might be laughing at everyone right now.

Spears ordered to undergo drug tests

Britney Spears has been ordered to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week, according to court documents in her custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The order was issued Monday by a judge who required both parents to refrain from drinking and using drugs around their two young children and 12 hours before either cares for them. Only Spears was ordered to submit to testing.

“Based on the evidence presented, the court finds that there is a habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol” by Spears, Superior Court Judge Scott M. Gordon said in court documents.

Messages left with attorneys for Spears and Federline were not immediately returned.

The singer married Federline in October 2004. She filed for divorce last November, and the divorce became official July 30. The two have joint custody of their sons — Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1 — but Federline is seeking a greater share of custody.

The judge also said Spears must meet for eight hours a week with a “parenting coach” who will observe and report back to the court about her parenting skills.

Both parents are prohibited from “making derogatory remarks” about each other in their children’s presence, and from “using corporal punishment” to discipline them. Each must complete the court’s “Parenting without Conflict” class.

Cruise has been voted “The Sexiest Little-Man” in a British poll. Tom Cruise sexy? He hasn’t been sexy since Top Gun and that was over 20 years ago. That’s my opinion and to my amazement these polls have gone against my thoughts for the second time with regards to this actor. Only last month Tom was given the title of the most powerful Hollywood actor, even more powerful than Tom Hanks, please don’t tell me that Tom has more aura and market presence than Tom Cruise, because that will be utter lies rather than ‘True Lies’. Ok his smile is fine and is attractive but after that is looks like a person who’s just over valuating himself and thinks that he’s the best, he’s the one and looks like that’s his world. Isn’t being sexy all about how you want people to perceive you rather that how you keeping your big ass ego on your nose and thinking that others are just going to make the way for you where ever you go. That’s why I was happy when recently Tom-Katie disallowed entry into a nightclub, it showed that they just do not care about checking whether there is space to get into the club. They just went there thinking they couldn’t be denied entry.

Britney Spears Won’t Be At The Emmys

Britney Spears has ruled out an appearance at the Emmy Awards on Sunday. The pop superstar was reportedly in negotiations to appear on the telecast and apologize for her terrible performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas last weekend. After nearly a week of speculation on whether or not Britney shall be there to perform at the Emmys after the rather disastrous show at last weeks’ MTV VMAs, she has probably made the right decision to skip the opportunity to make an appearance there at the Emmys. Because if she had not been able to perform at a high standard at the Emmys too then that would have sent the alarm bells ringing into a over drive motion. Already she is reeling under severe pressure and bad comments about her VMA performance and another bad performance would have sent the world into a tizzy. This is exactly what she needs to do, say no to everything right now and just concentrate on getting her life back to normalcy and preparing for the custody battle with Kevin her ex-husband.

The rapper who’s most known for his ego says that he’s had it with MTV after he got snubbed again at the VMAs and threw a tantrum backstage after losing all five categories for which he was nominated.

Kanye said “That’s two years in a row, man … give a black man a chance. I’m trying hard man, I have the … number one record, man.” He was also described by the AP as ‘stomping around his entourage’.

This isn’t the first time he’s whined about losing. Last year, he crashed the stage at the MTV Europe Awards to complain about that shutout.

Britney Spears Kicks Off Show, But VMA Night Belongs To Rihanna And Justin Timberlake

No snakes. No same-sex kisses. No magic tricks. No skimpy outfits. OK, plenty of skimpy outfits. After all, it’s Britney, bitch, right? With one of the most anticipated openings in VMA history, Britney Spears tried to get the party started Sunday night with a James Bond-meets-underground S&M club slither through her new single, “Gimme More.” But the evening belonged to Rihanna and Britney’s old beau, Justin Timberlake, who both scooped up two awards, including the coveted Video of the Year for Rihanna in honor of her inescapable smash “Umbrella.” Timberlake videos also won Best Choreography and Best Direction.
After weeks of relentless hype and endless accounts of her preshow partying, Britney’s much-discussed comeback performance opened with a close-up of the back of her head. Staring straight into the camera, she purred the beginning couplet to “Trouble,” made famous by the ultimate Las Vegas legend, Elvis, “If you’re lookin’ for trouble, you came to the right place/ If you’re lookin’ for trouble, look right in my face.” The camera panned out to reveal Spears decked out in Vegas-appropriate bling, including a black, jewel-encrusted bra and hot pants, black boots and nothing else. Sashaying in and out of dancers in skin-tight leather, Spears literally stepped over the back of a male dancer and got intimate with another.

With images of chandeliers floating on the screen behind her mixed with silhouettes of women befitting the intro reel to a James Bond flick, Spears walked across the stage as her scantily clad dancers worked a series of stripper poles scattered throughout the room. And then, after all that hype, a relieved-looking Brit gave a shy smile, whispered “thank you” and exited after a low-key performance that was quickly overshadowed by the likes of high-energy sets from the Foo Fighters, Chris Brown, Kanye and the most talked-about hookup (or is it right hook?) of the night: a scuffle between Pamela Anderson’s former husbands, Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, that had Diddy and Jamie Foxx pleading with rock stars to end the violence.

Sarah Silverman gave her instant take on Britney with a slash and burn mini-monologue that managed to dis Spears’ kids, Madonna and the bits of Brit we hope are kept under wraps from now on. The comedian seemed willing to ease up on her favorite recent target — Paris Hilton — but still managed to get one roundhouse in before paving the way for the night’s first award, Monster Single of the Year. And who else could have taken that one home besides Rihanna? The humble songstress thanked fans and her producers for helping craft the year’s truly monster smash, “Umbrella.”
