Tom Cruise’s film fortunes have just been given a big boost - bosses financial firm Merrill Lynch have handed over $500 million to the movie star’s United Artists Company. Now this is some news that marks Tom Cruise and backs his status as the world’s most powerful movie star. $500 million is a huge amount and shall help his company attain high standard that we have come to associate with Hollywood blockbusters for the past few years. This surely calls for big bash that should be the toast of the year and celebrities would most certainly include LA’s newest arrivals soccer superstar David Beckham who is a close friend of Tom and Katie.
