Oh, what a little girl’s birthday party has wrought…OK! Magazine was talking “explosive allegations” and Larry Birkhead was talking lawsuits after the celebrity weekly announced it had nixed planned coverage of the first-birthday party of Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter, Dannielynn. How about exploiting your child, as you said you wouldn’t, for financial gain –unless you were going to pay for medical expenses, I still say this child is cross-eyed; having a druggie mother will cause birth defects. Other than that Dannielynn is gorgeous and looks just like her mom AND dad. She may have what is called an esotropia or inward turning of the eye. It is hard to tell by looking at this pix of her. Only about 22% of infants are born with straight eyes. Crossed eyes, also known as strabismus, and “lazy eye” (amblyopia) are not the same thing. Lazy eye has to do with reduced vision and the most common cause of lazy eye is strabismus.

Jim Carrey to Burma: Give Peace a Chance

Forget Winona. Forget Katie. Definitely forget Paris. Jim Carrey wants to focus on a new campaign: Free Aung San. The suddenly serious funnyman has taken to YouTube, releasing a public service announcement that calls for the release of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, a peace activist and icon of Burmese democracy who has been placed under long-term house arrest for her nonviolent efforts against the Southeast Asian nation’s ruling military regime. Its easy sitting in luxury and talking about what other countries should be doing. I am sure Burma has its own political problems but that is the case with every country be it a Democracy or Communist country. I rather suggest Jim that you ask USA to control the brutality that its soldiers are doing on a daily basis in Iraq and elsewhere. Jim get out of the home comforts and visit one of these devastated places to have a look for yourself. I needn’t say much after this. Surely you have some good cause to work on.

Jennifer Esposito, Bradley Cooper Agree to Divorce Terms

Jennifer Esposito and Bradley Cooper have agreed to end their four-month marriage, with the divorce going into effect in November, according to court papers made public Monday.

Esposito filed for divorce on May 1 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking financial support from Cooper.

The pair signed dissolution of marriage papers on Friday. The divorce becomes final on November 10 – about six months after the filing date. The financial terms were determined by a prenuptial agreement, which remained sealed, the papers show.

Esposito, 35, and Cooper, 33, wed in late December and separated on April 5, 2007, according to the papers.

She appeared in 2005’s Best Picture Oscar winner Crash, while he starred in the short-lived 2005 FOX sitcom Kitchen Confidential and as the bullying fiancé in the 2005 movie comedy Wedding Crashers.

It was a first marriage for both.

Willa Ford Marries Hockey Star in Texas

Singer-actress Willa Ford married longtime beau and Dallas Stars hockey player Mike Modano in Athens, Texas on Saturday, her manager said.

The 26-year-old Ford, who competed in season three of Dancing with the Stars, exchanged vows with Modano, 37, in an early evening ceremony held at a private ranch in front of 75 guests.

The bride wore a wedding gown she designed herself.

The couple had an on-and-off relationship for more than four years before getting engaged in Dallas over the 2006 Thanksgiving holiday. At the time, Ford told her fiance was “calm, cool, collected and very focused. He grounds me.”

This is the first marriage for both.

Ever since Dancing, Ford has been busy working on reviving her music career and expanding her acting chops. She landed the lead role of Anna Nicole Smith in a biopic filmed earlier this year. Last week she wrapped Impulse, an independent thriller that filmed in Vancouver.

Ford and Modano bought a home in the Dallas area earlier this year and hope to start a family soon.

“I’m really one of those old-fashioned Southern girls who wants to get married, have a little time as newlyweds and then have babies,” Ford said.

Brad & Angelina Helicopter to the Hamptons

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie treated their kids to the quintessential New York City weekend, complete with a trip to a hot-dog cart and a carousel ride in Central Park. Then on Saturday night, it was all about helping a good cause: The pair took a helicopter to the Hamptons to host a dinner party raising money to help rebuild New Orleans.

Both dressed in white, Jolie, 32, and Pitt, 43, left Manhattan and flew into Westhampton for the event, after they were diverted from nearby East Hampton because of foggy conditions. From there, the couple ended up taking a cab to the home of Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff, the married couple who co-founded the Tribeca Film Festival with Robert De Niro.

Christie Brinkley, Ellen Barkin and Jimmy Buffett were among the celebrity guests, New York’s Daily News reports, and Pitt himself gave a speech on helping those affected by Katrina.

The more than 50 guests were served cocktails followed by dinner (a buffet of lamb, salmon and corn pudding), all under a giant tent decorated with black-and-white photos of everyday life in New Orleans.

The fund-raiser helped promote Pitt’s Make It Right project, which is aiming to rebuild areas of New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward with environmentally friendly homes.

Filmmaker involved in fatal car accident

Oscar-nominated director John Singleton was driving a Lexus SUV when it struck and killed a jaywalker who stepped in front of the car, police said Friday.

Singleton, 39, immediately stopped his car and waited for police to arrive after the accident Thursday night in the city’s Jefferson Park neighborhood, said Officer Jason Lee, a police spokesman.

“Mr. Singleton stopped and identified himself as required by law and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol,” Lee said. “He was questioned and released.”

The woman was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead Friday morning, Lee said. She was identified as Constance Russell, 57, of Los Angeles.

Other details were not immediately released, and an after-hours call to Singleton’s agent was not immediately returned.

Singleton, whose debut film, 1991’s “Boyz N The Hood,” earned him two Oscar nominations, has also directed “Poetic Justice,” “Shaft,” and “2 Fast 2 Furious.” He was the producer of “Hustle & Flow,” “Black Snake Moan” and the just-released “Illegal Tender.”

Amy Quits Again

The males have Pete Doherty. The females have Amy Winehouse. Americans have Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. The Brits, once again, have Amy Winehouse. It’s not a very good thing.

Amy has been in and out of rehab for a reported two times within the same week. We all know that you can’t force a person to get some help – take Lindsay. Wino apparently left rehab on Sunday night after fighting a lot with her hubby who was also in rehab with her.

While staff at the center were sad to see Amy leave, they were glad that Blake left. He wasn’t really a welcome site for them or anyone. Wino leaving the center is a further blow to her father and her inner circle who are all concerned that she and Blake would go back to their druggy ways.

Eve’s Girls

Grammy award-winning rapper Eve is on the cover of the latest issue of HX (Homo Xtra) magazine. If you remember, Eve was arrested not so long ago with a .08 blood alcohol level after she crashed her car in Hollywood. Lesson: crash your car, earn a magazine cover.

In the gay magazine, the blonde rapper touches on her failed fashion line, new album and pushy lesbian. Eve denies being gay but she jokingly acknowledges that her two would-be gal pals would be Angelina Jolie and Dita Von Teese.

At least she’s got taste. I’d skin her if she said someone along the lines of Britney or Paris.

‘The Simpsons Movie’ Remains Global Number One

The Simpsons Movie continues to draw a crowd at the international box-office - the animated film is the world’s number one movie for a fourth successive week. The big screen adventures of Homer Simpson and family took a further $23.4 million in cinemas outside the U.S., bringing its total global haul to $270 million. Well the movie ‘The Transformers’ too was an awesome movie but the global success of animated movies shows that there exist an audience that loves seeing something light and not just the run of the mill Hollywood action and violent movies that much to my amazement form bulk of the movie that are made in Hollywood. Well there exist a market all kinds of movies and everything the audience is willing to pay for will have market, yet I think animated movies are really cute and fun to watch.

Adam on Maria

It may very well be the thing that would turn every girl or guy or gay off. Whether it’s for Adam Levine or for Maria Sharapova is up to you. Either way, I’m completely turned off.

Maroon 5’s front man Adam Levine recently went on the record about dating, and having sex, with tennis sensation Maria Sharapova. Here’s what he had to say:

“She wouldn’t make any noise during sex. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was. I really thought, like a lot of guys, that she’d be the loud screaming type. But instead, she just lay there like a dead frog. She even got angry if I started to moan, said it ‘ruined her concentration.’ It was so disillusioning that I went on Paxil for a month afterwards. Christina Tries to Hide

She could be six months pregnant already for all we know and yet there’s still no official statement on it.

Christina Aguilera was spotted out shopping in Los Angeles on Friday. She was clearly trying to hide her baby bump as she dressed her self in many flowing layers. The singer who just finished her tour, or more like ended it abruptly due to an illness, took her whole family along for the little shopping trip. She had husband Jordan Bratman, mother Shelly and younger brother Michael flanking her side the whole time.

They went furniture shopping to most likely redecorate the former Beverly Hills home of the Osbourne family. Did they buy a crib?

Tom Cruise’s Movie Studio Gets Big Bucks

Tom Cruise’s film fortunes have just been given a big boost - bosses financial firm Merrill Lynch have handed over $500 million to the movie star’s United Artists Company. Now this is some news that marks Tom Cruise and backs his status as the world’s most powerful movie star. $500 million is a huge amount and shall help his company attain high standard that we have come to associate with Hollywood blockbusters for the past few years. This surely calls for big bash that should be the toast of the year and celebrities would most certainly include LA’s newest arrivals soccer superstar David Beckham who is a close friend of Tom and Katie. Now the onus is well and truly on Tom and his production partner Paula Wagner to deliver on the faith that the investors have shown in their abilities.

Britney Leaves Lawyer Meeting in Tears

Pop star Britney Spears is no stranger to trouble and headlines. After a meeting with her lawyer on Wednesday she reportedly fled the office in tears. The meeting had been to discuss her battle for custody against ex-husband Kevin Federline. When their divorce was finalized last month there had been a joint custody arrangement. Since then Spears has been constantly in the news with a string of bizarre behaviour. It had led Federline to push for full custody of the two boys they share. Two assistants and a bodyguard that work for Spears have all been subpoenaed to appear in court. Spears was photographed crying as she left the office of lawyer Laura Wasser. Later that night she met with magician Criss Angel to discuss the possibility of collaboration at the upcoming MTV Music Video Awards. Does she think that he can magically alter her reality? Perhaps make her or Federline disappear? I find it funny that Angel is open to working with her. They’ve each had their share of drama in the press lately, why add more?

Pitt Denies Adoption Rumours

A British newspaper claimed earlier this week that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were planning to adopt another child from Ethiopia. That is the same country they adopted their daughter from in 2005. The couple has also adopted two other children and have one biologically together. The strange this is that Pitt’s spokeswoman has already told CelebrityTruth.com that the couple is planning to go back to Ethiopia in November with plans to adopt another child. Their reported reasoning for this is so that the adopted children have another in the family with physical, ethnic similarities. I’m not quite sure if that really is a good reason to keep acquiring children. If anything this couple is so far ahead of the rest of the trendsters that they can slow down now. Perhaps Pitt has recently changed his mind about adding another to their brood, especially after Angie’s lesbian lover appeared in the press talking about how Jolie could never truly give up her dark sexual side.

Rumer Willis in Racy Photos

Some steamy, nude photos of Rumer Willis have recently been leaked making the eighteen year old the subject of more scrutiny. The daughter of actors Demi Moore and Bruce Willis claims the photo is from an upcoming comedy she stars in called “House Bunny”. She said it’s from a mock photo shoot the characters do for a calendar. Willis’ photo shows her nude wearing only a silver back brace and a dunce cap. That must surely make Mom and Dad proud. She basically shrugged it off saying that it was a movie image leaked and “it is what it is”. Her choice in movie roles is certainly questionable but then again, I guess the girl has to start somewhere. It already doesn’t sound like much of a blockbuster, perhaps one of those straight to DVD films. I guess that’s worth a nude shot or two for some people.

Britney is Alluring not OK

Thanks to photoshop for the change of scenery when it comes to Britney Spears. The fallen pop star looks like a black-haired bombshell on the September 2007 cover of Allure magazine. It’s almost reminiscent of her sane days.

Thankfully, the shoot for this one went better than the OK! Magazine shoot.

Allure’s editor-in-chief Linda Wells said that Britney showed up for the shoot on time and ready to work and even stripped for no reason. Wells says that “She was entirely unselfconscious: She took off her wig and then stripped down to the waist, for no apparent reason, before sitting for hair and makeup. She was agreeable and cooperative on the shoot and left at the end of the day, followed by a trail of paparazzi. And that was the last we saw of her.”

Huh.

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie’s Show Of Unity

I think the fat lady is starting to hum a tune, does anyone else hear it? I think they won’t last because despite being a positive person I really think that all good things are not meant to be ever lasting items. He might be the hottest property in Hollywood and Angelina might be the most gorgeous of them all, she might be involved in path breaking human right development issues and her adoptions certainly have the world attention. Yet, not all good thing are meant to be ever lasting and they too however good together shall most probably becomes exes and hog the limelight separately sooner than later. SO even if they are doing everything they can to show their unity we all know that it is merely to wash the rumors for a while so that they can settle things and differences in peace. It’s most probably like the lull before the storm and we can all sense it. Hopefully I am proved wrong but that’s just a wish not prayer.

Eva Longoria & Tony Parker Want Trilingual Kids

Newly wed Eva Longoria says that if she and husband Tony Parker have kids, the couple will teach them all three languages they collectively speak English, Spanish and French.

“We will definitely do that – absolutely, absolutely!” the Desperate Housewives star told at a fundraiser for Padres Contra El Cancer (Parents Against Cancer), which helps Latina children with cancer and their families. The event took place at the premiere of the Nickelodeon show Go, Diego, Go Live! The Great Jaguar Rescue at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.

“Tony and I would love to have kids,” said Longoria, 32, who speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Parker, 25, is a native of France. The couple wed in Paris in July.

Longoria said that it’s nice to have bilingual cartoon characters like Diego and Dora the Explorer, joking that when she was a kid, “Speedy Gonzales was the bilingual character growing up and all he said was ‘Arriba! Arriba!’”

Longoria showed off her maternal instincts at the event by spending time with several of the kids on hand, squatting down for a photo with them, coloring and having imaginary tea time at one of the kid’s tables.

“It was really important today to have the opportunity to bring the kids from Padres,” added Longoria. “[They can] come out with their families and their brothers and their sisters and just enjoy a day of fun and of Go, Diego, Go and just step away from the chemo and step away from the treatments and step away from the hospital and get out and be a kid, because that’s what it’s all about!”

Former alcoholic Anthony Hopkins stopped drinking after he was rescued by a ‘golden voice’ from his subconscious. The Oscar-winning actor admits quitting alcohol in 1975 was a lucky escape. ha ha the golden voice from his substupidness what a thing to say you quit like the rest of us cause you knew it was killing you and that’s the reason most of us quit plus the hangover’s and the danger of losing our job’s and everything we may own plus families and our children if we have any of course you have to be different you hear a golden voice ham right to the end. I heard a golden voice one night in bed from the toothless one I just raised the blankets and let his words and aroma drift away. These celebs give us such reasons, like something like a meteorite fell on them and they thought this was the right time to give up on drugs and alcohol. Why can’t they simply admit that it was a case to choose between life and death and they had nothing left in their body, so they managed to crawl and get a life.

DiCaprio Speaks About President Hopefuls

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has his head on his shoulders more than most other celebrities his age right now. He has recently stated that he is not supporting any of the politician’s running for President in the next election. In the last election Leonardo was an outspoken supporter of John Kerry. He even went to fourteen different states to support him and help raise funds for him. He says that of the politicians campaigning this time none of them have had any concrete facts regarding the environment. He has yet to hear anything that catches his attention. It’s nice to see someone in Hollywood acting like a normal human being for once. This is the kind of thing that is important. More celebrities should be focusing on the world and the reality that affects us all rather than who got drunk and busted last night.
