Bale played with a poisonous spider
Batman Beings star Christian Bale was aghast while filming Rescue Dawn, when a wildlife expert told him the spider he was playing with was poisonous enough to kill him in just one single bite. The incident occurred during the film’s shooting in Thailand. “One day we saw this beautiful spider web. I was tapping the spider and he’d run around. Then an expert came along and said, ‘wow, look at that spider. It will kill you with one bite.’ Now playing with a spider is no walk in the park – that is something what Bale will remember all his life. People think that small animals and insects are of no harm and easily fall for the beauty of the creature but you never can imagine that what venom that creature might possess. Now that Bale has learnt it, he might as well hire the wildlife expert rather than having a body guard to save his life the next time he find a cute little creature.
