Bruce Willis Actor Bruce Willis surprised U.S. chat show host David Letterman with a little wind power on Monday, when he arrived for his appearance on The Late Show with a mini-turbine strapped to his head. The Live Free or Die Hard star had made a habit of wearing odd wigs and headgear for his spots on pal Letterman’s late-night show. The movie star also had fun with a spoof stunt on the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theater, where The Late Show is filmed - he threw himself off the building, missed a pool of water and landed head first on the pavement. He’s getting older but not getting any wiser. At the same time in Hollywood it the risk that gets you publicity and Bruce wants it.

Dozens of fans gathered at Tokyo airport to see Radcliffe
Fans are getting ready for the premiere of the fifth Harry Potter film, The Order of the Phoenix, which is about to take place in Tokyo.
Dressed in black capes and wigs, fans have started to queue alongside the red carpet laid out for the stars.
Daniel Radcliffe, who has played the boy wizard since 2001, was met by dozens of fans at Tokyo airport when he flew in.
The UK premiere of the film will be held in London on 3 July.
“I’m a huge fan. I think it’s so cool you can use magic. I’ve been waiting for this movie for so long. I’m really excited,” said eight-year-old Yuina Era.

Her mother, Reina, shares her daughter’s enthusiasm.
“We’ve been with Harry Potter since the first book. I feel like I am under a spell when I read his books,” she said.

A three-SUV brigade ferried Hilton and her entourage to CNN’s Sunset Boulevard studio at about 2:45 p.m. Clad in an ivory dress with lace trim, the 26-year-old tabloid fixture gave a quick wave to the paparazzi before rounding a corner into the building. You commit a law offense time and time again, she on the cover of tabloids coz she’s caught for drunken driving and she expected a community service sentence coz Naomi Campbell got a similar sentence for hitting a mobile phone on her maid. All these girls think the law shall be lenient with them but sometimes the calculation falls apart and they to face the ire for their doings.

Germany imposes ban on Tom Cruise

What some countries think is a bigger issue than just a mere ideology. If actor Tom Cruise thinks and believes in some thing like Scientology then why should a world power like Germany be so concerned as to stop a movie being produced? Germany has banned the makers of Tom Cruise’s new movie from filming at military sites in the country because the actor is a Scientologist. The German defense ministry said Cruise has “publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult”. Scientology masquerades as a religion to make money, Germany said, but leaders of the church reject this. Cruise’s producing partner Paula Wagner said the star’s own convictions had no relation to the film’s content. Cruise will play Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg in Valkyrie, leader of the 1944 plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler using a bomb hidden in a briefcase, scheduled for release next year.

Paris Hilton Released in LYNWOOD

A mischievously smiling Hotel heiress Paris Hilton cat walked out of a Los Angeles County jail early Tuesday, officially ending a bizarre, three-week stay that ignited furious debate over celebrity treatment in the jail system. Paris Hilton has been released from jail after for an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

Hilton must wear a monitoring bracelet and remain at her home for another 40 days, said sheriff’s department spokesman Steve Whitmore. The decision was made as a result of a medical problem, but officials refused to give details of the condition.

It is really amazing that Paris Hilton should develop a medical condition at the prospect of spending her full term in jail. It is funnier to know officials fell for her story. It would be interesting to know how many other people in her situation from less privileged backgrounds were offered the same get out of jail free card! Anyways, perhaps after release whether Paris Hilton will turn over a new leaf, or go back to her party-girl life, is anyone’s guess. So….. What’s next for Paris Hilton?

Police: Foxy Brown robbed of bag, cash

Rapper Foxy Brown who’s on probation for assault and facing a battery charge in a separate case had another brush with violence over the weekend. But this time, she was the victim, police said.
Four people teamed up to rob the racy rapper of a Louis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash and credit cards around 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the East New York section of Brooklyn, police said.
Roshawn Anthony, 23, was arraigned Sunday on charges of robbery, assault and grand larceny, said Clinton Hughes, an attorney with Legal Aid who is representing Anthony.
“She denies these charges,” Hughes said.
Bail was set at $50,000 and her next court date was Thursday. Brown’s lawyer, state Sen. John Sampson, did not immediately return telephone and e-mail messages early Sunday.
But Brown told the New York Post that the robbery never happened, and that she hadn’t been at the location police gave, near a public housing complex.

“A lot of the time, people mistake me for someone else, or people always call in these false tips,” Brown told the newspaper outside her Brooklyn brownstone Saturday.

Police said the rapper, whose real name is Inga Marchand, had indeed been attacked.

Brown was charged with battery and resisting an officer with violence in Florida on Feb. 15, when police said she threw hair glue at a beauty shop employee when he asked her to leave because the shop was closing. That case is pending.

Jim Carey Back To Doing Comedy

He’s one of the best in the business along with the likes of Robin Williams; he does those really funny acts with utmost ease and simplicity. From Mask to Bruce Almighty which was released in the year 2003 collecting a grand $240 million and being his biggest grosser till date. His wacky style of presenting a comic character is really amazing and something we can only except from this guy. Many people do laugh at his actions and he also has his share of detractors but his movie background is enough proof to suggest that the guy has oomph’s of talent to survive any setbacks he may face (”The Mask” character turned him into the first Hollywood star to pass the $20 million per movie barrier). Comedy superstar Jim Carey will return to his funny roots as a jailed homosexual bent on breaking out in “I Love You Phillip Morris”. Inspired by a true story, the film deals with his character’s attempts to rejoin his former cellmate and lover outside the prison and is presented as Steven Spielberg’s “Catch Me If You Can” meets “Brokeback Mountain.

Britney Has Trouble with Mom

It was earlier this week that the tabloids began to report that Britney Spears and her mother Lynne were having a dispute of sorts. Lynne reportedly sided with Kevin Federline over Britney during the couple’s custody disputes. Add insult to injury because Lynne also pushed Britney into rehab for alcohol abuse and depression. It is understandable how the conflict here could arise. Lynne has said she feels like she gave up everything for her daughter to chase success in L.A. and is now being wrongly treated. I’m sure she is looking out for the well being of her grandchildren. Britney has obviously not been doing the best job possible and with the entire recent breakdown, head shaving stuff it just makes her look worse. Britney needs to stop being so selfish and start realizing there are more important people than her, her kids.

Paris Hilton says in an interview from jail she’s a changed woman who now appreciates “things I took for granted” and plans to use her fame “in a good way”. Well these celebs just have a change of introspection now and then, again and again. Hilton, who is scheduled to be released next week, says she plans to use her celebrity for good – and doesn’t want to be the object of ridicule anymore. Hey Paris you’ve already set the tone for others’ to follow and the likes of Nicole Richie and other are in desperate times trying to find ways to follow in your foot steps, please do not let them down by saying such words as this will be a dampener to their bids to secure a place along side you. Of her life behind bars, Hilton, who was jailed for violating probation for driving with a suspended license, says it’s been difficult being kept from her family. “I am behind glass and I want to give my dad a big hug and they won’t even let me do that.” You mostly get what you have sowed, painfully but reality in the case of Paris.

Singer Christina Aguilera is reportedly three months into her pregnancy with hubby Jordan Bratman’s child. The stripped singer has been announcing the arrival of her baby to all her friends. Hey there like we too are ecstatic at the news of the arrival of a new member in your life. Christina is taking good care of the child which is evident from the fact that the couple visited Maternal Fetal Medicine Association in New York which was the place where the news of this possibility broke out and then when she refused to confirm or deny the same there was nothing to speculate on the matter. Now that the singer has confirmed to friends the news is out in the open. What can we say, but keep good health and avoid taking even the slightest of risk and stay happy. Actor Rooney To Make Panto Debut

There are some men who have that special gusto in life to keep on acting when they have past the age of sitting in a rocking arm chair. This news should be a short in the arm for all those people who think of life beyond the age of 75-80. Legendary Hollywood actor Mickey Rooney is to make his pantomime debut at a theatre on Wearside later this year. The 86-year-old veteran performer will play Baron Hardup in the Sunderland Empire’s production of Cinderella. Mr Rooney, who has worked with many of Hollywood’s greats, including Judy Garland, will be joined by comedian Les Dennis and pop star Michelle Heaton. Mr Rooney’s wife Jan will also be among the cast of the pantomime, which is due to run from 8 December until 6 January. Theatre general manager Paul Ryan, said: “As we return to our traditional pantomime roots for our 100th birthday, we are thrilled to be bringing a Hollywood legend to the North East.

Lindsay Lohan turns to God

The father of the actress claims she has found God.

Michael Lohan believes his actress daughter - currently in residence at Malibu’s Promises rehab center - is now on the road to recovery after attending church on a regular basis.

In an interview for America’s ‘The Insider’ Show he said:” Lindsay has found this righteous path because she’s going to church and that’s a good sign.”

Michael who has been estranged form his daughter from 2005 assault conviction has also revealed that his daughter has canceled her 21st birthday party at Las Vegas’ PURE nightclub.

He added: “It was absurd and thank God she called it off.”

Lindsay had been planning to celebrate the milestone with the lavish party, but the bash was called off on Monday (18.06.07)

A representative of PURE nightclub Kate Turner said in an interview:” We support Lindsay and wish her the best as she is taking care of personal matters at this time. Due to the unique circumstances Lindsay’s birthday party at PURE Nightclub has been canceled. We think the world of her and look forward to working with her in the future.”

The 20-year-old actress checked into Malibu’s Promise center for the second time after she was arrested for DUI (driving under the influence) last month when she crashed her car into the curb in Hollywood.

Police found a “usable amount” of cocaine in the vehicle.

Tom Cruise’s scientology wedding

The actor is said to perform a Scientology wedding for a friend.
The “War of the Worlds” star is a zealous adherent of Scientology. Cruise will conduct James Packer’s wedding on France’s Cote d’Azur on Wednesday (20.06.07), according to Women’s Wear Daily magazine.
The wealthy Australian heir is going to marry model-turned-singer Erica Baxter. Packer is one of the wealthiest benefactors of the Church of Scientology after he inherited $6.5 billion fortune when his father, Kerry Packer, died last year.
Packer is believed to have booked out Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat and the Hotel du Cap-Eden Roc for wedding guests.
Meanwhile, Cruise has reignited controversy surrounding his film about German WWII officer Count Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg.
The 44-year-old actor was seen leaving a Scientology Church in Berlin with his wife Katie Holmes at midnight. That made reporters and critics think that he is planning to “inject” Scientology propaganda into his new film. If this rumor turns right this will provoke many controversies.
Cruise will play the nobleman - who tried and failed to kill Adolf Hitler - in the movie due to be filmed in Berlin this summer.
Even before the release of the film relatives of Schenk von Stauffenberg have expressed their worries of propaganda being involved in the film in interviews
Cruise’s beliefs have caused him troubles before too. There were rumors that his wife Katie Holmes is going to leave him because she couldn’t bear all those requirements of her husband’s religion.

Now…..!!!!! British rock star Rod Stewart married Penny Lancaster on Saturday in a low-key ceremony on Italy’s Ligurian coast. Stewart is 62, and Lancaster is 36, they are together since the break-up of Stewart’s second marriage in 1998. The couple have 19 month son.

My best wishes to Rod Stewart and Good luck to his girlfriend Penny Lancaster! After living with her for so many years, why marry now? He must be having children older than his new wife.

The couple got engaged in 2005, but Stewart’s divorce from his earlier wife was not finalized until last year. The former model, who is now the rock legend’s third wife, says she wants another child as soon as possible! Rod Stewart already has seven children.

Kevin Federline a dad again?

Kevin Federline is set to be a father again it has been reported recently.
The rapper who was rumored to have reunited with troubled ex-wife Britney Spears has no idea that his current girlfriend Shar Jackson might be expecting their third child.
A source told America’s Star magazine: ”Shar wants to tell Kevin, but she keeps getting cold feet! She’s really scared of what he’ll say - if he’ll be excited or furious. What if he doesn’t want another kid? After all with her two children , and Britney’s two, he’s got his hands full already! It would be Shar’s dream for them to get married and have another baby. She’d love to be living the family life with Kevin.”
Shar and Kevin already have two children- a four-year-old Kori, and two-year-old son Kaleb. Now the actress is said to be seven weeks pregnant with their third child. She is convinced that this is his child because he has been her only man during their relationship.
Along with his two children from Shar Kevin has another two from Britney Spears- 21-month-old Sean Preston and nine-month-old Jayden James.
Britney is reported to be desperate to patch things up with her ex-husband and used her recent vacation to New Mexico to think about their relationship and the possible way out.
A source said: “When she was on vacation she was in the best mood she’s been in for ages. She confessed it was because she and Kevin are slowly moving towards getting back together.”
Britney, 26, and Kevin, 28, are said to be having secret meetings and long heart-to-heart telephone conversations.
So there would be no surprise if we see them together pretty soon.

Posh Spice films scenes for reality show

A Beckham was on the pitch — only it was Victoria Beckham and she was at Dodger Stadium.
The former Posh Spice, wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers windbreaker, filmed scenes for her upcoming reality show Monday before the New York Mets-Dodgers game.
In a nearly empty Dodger Stadium, the wife of soccer star David Beckham played catch with Dodgers pitcher Derek Lowe in preparation for throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
That was filmed, as was a conversation with Hall of Famer Tom Lasorda, a longtime manager of the Dodgers who is now a club executive.
NBC has signed a deal for six episodes of a 30-minute unscripted series chronicling the former Posh Spice’s relocation from Europe with her husband, who has signed to play with the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.
Beckham is in Spain finishing out his contract with Real Madrid, which ends June 30.
“Mid-July, I reckon”, she said when asked about when the move to California will take place. “As a family, we’re really excited about moving to L.A. He’s looking forward to coming to a Dodgers game as well.”
Beckham, also wearing white shorts, white high-heeled sneakers and oversized sunglasses, said she was “really nervous” about delivering the ceremonial first pitch. But many of her practice tosses to Lowe in the area behind home plate were on-target.
The reality show might air this summer. It will be produced by Simon Fuller, the “American Idol” magnate who managed the Spice Girls pop group that included Beckham.
Fuller manages both Beckhams and helped negotiate the famed athlete’s lucrative soccer deal.

Sean Stewart Arrested

Sean Stewart, 26, son of rock star Rod Stewart, was arrested on charges of assaulting a couple with a brick. He was taken into custody and eventually got charged with 4 felony counts: throwing a substance at a vehicle, vandalism, assault of a deadly weapon and one that is not public yet (probably minor). Sean was released on a $60,000 bail.

The incident mentioned is said to have happened on April 22 outside a party in Hollywood Hills. Sean’s lawyer, Peter J. Korn, said:

“Our investigation has shown that the alleged victim only named Sean Stewart as a suspect after hearing that Mr. Stewart was at the party that night and that the alleged victim had a financial motive to make these allegations against Mr. Stewart.”

Special Treatment for Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton’s parents went to visit their daughter. Nothing special here but what was interesting is that they went in front of the line formed by other individuals waiting to visit loved ones. This raised questions that Paris is receiving special treatment.

Shatani Alverson, 23 years old, said she was basically taken out of the jail’s visiting room just seconds after her husband walked in because of the Hiltons. She was simply told to come back after lunch. A sheriff’s spokesman declared that during lunch the visiting room is closed and that is when high-profile inmates receive visitors.

To add more insult to the injury Paris was sent to a medical word where a female inmate’s housing costs $1,109.78 per day as compared to $99.64 with the others. As you can see Paris Hilton is getting special treatment but we knew that she will after getting in jail.

Al Pacino’s lifetime honor

Al Pacino has been honored with the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award.
The “Scarface” actor, who received the acting institution’s highest honor at Los Angeles’ Kodak Theater last Thursday (07.06.07), was left visibly moved as a series of Hollywood stars paid tribute to him.
Upon collecting his award, Pacino said: ”I need a character. I don’t think of myself as being able to do anything. Seeing my life in the movies, I have one question. And that is, ‘Why aren’t I in rehab?!”
“By age 3, I was doing Al Jolson (legendary singer who starred in the first “talking” film). I found, in the theater, this place I could go to. I found this peace. It means so many things to be honored like this. It feels great”.
The three-hour gala featured clips from Pacino’s biggest films including “The Godfather”, “Scent of a Woman” and “Serpico”.
Director Oliver Stone, who wrote “Scarface” in which Pacino starred as a violent drug dealer, paid tribute to one of Pacino’s most famous lines.
Stone said: ”Al has a wicked sense of humor and a great, if misunderstood, heart.”
Andy Garcia, who worked with Pacino on “The Godfather: Part III”, said: ”The depth of your artistry is only more overwhelmed by the generosity of your spirit and your warmth. You’re Van Gogh. You’re Modigliani. That’s who you are.”
Robin Williams, who was treated for alcoholism last year, joked: ”I would like to raise a glass to you, but that would be 11 months out the window.”
Pacino is best known for playing mafia boss Michael Corleone in the “Godfather” movie series.
He won a Best Actor Oscar for “Scent of a Woman” in 1993 for his portrayal of a blind Colonel, and has received a further seven Oscar nominations during his career.
Pacino’s latest projects include a big screen reunion with his “Heat” co-star Robert De Niro and a Salvador Dali biopic.

This is something that would melt the hearts and inspire love in even the hardest of non lovers. It fells so nice and overwhelming to hear that despite of their well known break up Kate Middleton the former girlfriend of British Prince William along with the girlfriend of Prince Harry shall be taking part in the celebrations to mark the death anniversary of Late Princess Diana. When Princes William and Harry take on the stage next month to host the Concert For Diana, two special guests will be supporting them in the wings. Despite her split for William in April, Kate will be attending the memorial event at the new Wembley stadium, along with Prince Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Since Kate and Davy have both been involved in the planning and details of the July 1 concert from the very start it would be nice to see all of them together though it is known that they would not be dating eachother any more. But still it gives us a chance to see the two in public together one last time.

Bell: Tough to say goodbye to Veronica

Kristen Bell is finding it tough to let go of Veronica Mars, the wisecracking teenage TV sleuth she portrayed for three seasons.
Asked what she would miss most about the character, Bell didn’t hesitate: “Other than everything?”
“It feels sort of like graduating high school. You really only recognize how special it was once it’s gone away”, Bell told The Associated Press in a recent phone interview.
“And of course everyone graduates from different jobs then they move on, but I don’t know I’ll find as special a show ever again”, the 26-year-old actress said. “I think I’m only truly realizing that now.”
The show, which was ratings challenged but a cult hit, was canceled May 17. Bell, though, hasn’t given up all hope just yet.
The network, she said, has until June 15 to tell the show’s producers whether it might be brought back as a midseason replacement.
CW spokesman Jeff Tobler confirmed the June 15 deadline.
Even if “Veronica Mars” doesn’t make it back onto the small screen, Bell says she would be happy to reprise her role in a feature film.
“I’m game. I would work for (“Veronica” creator) Rob Thomas again in a heartbeat”, she said. “Not just because of his brilliance, but because he’s a great guy.”
Set in the fictional seaside town of Neptune, Calif., Bell’s character tackled the ups and downs of high-school life while solving crimes. The just-completed third season shifted Veronica and her pals to nearby Hearst College. She still solved crimes and battled authority, but the ratings woes continued.
Meanwhile, Bell is in Hawaii filming “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, a comedy produced by Judd Apatow (“The 40 Year-Old Virgin”, “Knocked Up”). She plays the title character.
The actress says she is enjoying the adult humor and improvisational nature of an Apatow production.
“It’s not that cliched romantic comedy where boy meets girl”, she said. “Nothing is really cliched in this movie. It’s all very real.”

Paris: In and Out

Paris Hilton got out of jail due to a supposed delicate medical condition. After careful evaluation by a medical staff, the heiress’ stint in the pokey got cut short and was replaced by a 45-day house arrest.

This move was one that not only angered a couple of critics but also the judge that issued the sentence. Paris has been ordered to appear in court to explain her self and wait for the judge’s decision whether she will continue the house arrest or to suck it up and go back in jail.

I thought she said she was going to take the punishment like any other convict. What the heck is this about? I think her ‘medical condition’ was a nervous breakdown. So now, instead of a small cell, she gets a huge mansion. Nice. What a justice system!

Criss Angel dedicates latest stunt to Cameron Diaz

Criss Angel, who can be seen performing stunts on A&E’s “Criss Angel: Mindfreak” is being mysterious about whether his relationship with Cameron Diaz is real — or an illusion.
“Cameron Diaz is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful actresses — A-list actresses — in Hollywood”, he told AP Radio News. “She’s “talented, smart. Look at me — do you really think she would have any interest in a guy like me?”
Angel dedicated his latest stunt to Diaz this week.
The illusionist appeared to escape Tuesday from a box encased in concrete and suspended 40 feet above the ground near Manhattan’s Time Square before it came crashing to the ground.
The stunt was to promote the third season of “Mindfreak,” which debuted Tuesday night.
“I love you baby. Have a safe trip to Europe for your ‘Shrek’ tour”, he said in his shout-out to the 34-year-old actress, who reprises her voice role as Fiona in the DreamWorks animated blockbuster “Shrek the Third”.
So, are they or aren’t they dating?
“We’re good friends, and I’m honored to call her a friend because genuinely she’s a wonderful human being, and she’s just a great person, we have a good time”, he told AP Radio News.

Cuba Gooding Jr. has been hailed a hero after saving a man who had been shot.
The Oscar-winning actor was in his car when he heard four gunshots and saw a wounded young male staggering out of a Hollywood restaurant on Memorial Day (28.05.07), a US federal holiday, it has been reported.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “Cuba was picking up dinner at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘n’ Waffles for his family on the night of Memorial Day. He saw a young kid holding his head and walked toward him. The kid was bleeding from his neck and collapsed.”
Gooding ran over to the victim - described as around 20 years old - and cradled him as he shouted to the restaurant to bring him towels.
When staff emerged with paper towels, the “Jerry Maguire” star said: “No, we need real towels!”
