Wife killed in crash, Husband suing Brandy

On Wednesday Brandy was the recipient of a wrongful death suit as a result of her involvement in a fatal car crash December 30th on the San Diego Freeway. Marouane Hdidou is suing Brandy for negligence on behalf of his wife Awatef Aboudihaj after being hit from behind by the hip-hop singer. The courts are now determining if Brandy should also be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
What this all means is that the singer was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was driving 65 mph on the 405, and if anyone has spent any time in Los Angeles, they know how crazy that freeway can be. You take your life in your hands every time you get on the roadway. Yes Brandy was slow in reacting, but it doesn’t sound like she did anything intentionally wrong. Her reflexes might have been slow, but that’s about it. It’s tragic, but it could have been any one of us and the outcome would have been the same.
