Keira Knightley likes to smash glasses when she is angry.
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star says having a glass-throwing tantrum calms her down when she is upset.
Keira believes she inherited her raging temper from her father, actor Will Knightley.
She told Hello! magazine: “I am like my father. I have ‘the Knightley streak’. He gets angry at inanimate objects. I find it therapeutic to throw glasses even if you have to spend the rest of the night on your hands and knees collecting pieces of glass. Whether you are frustrated, sad or drunk it works. It takes the anger away.”
Everybody has his way in coping with fury and bad feelings. This is Keira’s way. Someone can say this is dangerous but this is just throwing glasses when you’re angry. You might have your own way to let off steam.
Keira, 22, also admits she is “a bit of a drama queen” and feels constantly insecure.
The actress - who recently confessed to be envious of The Gossip singer Beth Ditto’s full figure - said: “Look up insecurity in the dictionary, ‘For insecurity, see Keira Knightley.’ Constant insecurities. But I’m 22 and my body is alright at the moment. It’s not going to get much better. I know I might as well make the most of it.”
Keira is currently starring as Elizabeth Swann in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End’. The adventure movie has been a worldwide box office smash, taking $401 million since its global opening last Wednesday (23.05.07).

Britney says she hit “rock bottom” before rehab

Britney Spears says she “hit rock bottom” in a message posted on her Web site about the end of her marriage and her time in rehab.
Spears calls rehab “a very humbling place” and denies that it was alcohol or depression that sent her there.
“I truly hit rock bottom”, the 25-year-old pop star writes. “I was like a bad kid running around with ADD.”
Spears completed a month long stay at a luxury Malibu rehabilitation treatment facility in March after a series of run-ins with the paparazzi that included a stop at a San Fernando Valley hair salon, where she was caught on video shearing her own locks. Other photos splashed across the Internet appeared to reveal Spears out partying wearing nothing underneath her short skirts.
She was seen going out with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan after filing for divorce from aspiring rapper Kevin Federline last November, just two months after giving birth to their second child, Jayden James. The pair also have an older son, Sean Preston, now 20 months.
The couple reached a divorce settlement in March.
“I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce”, writes Spears. “I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn’t know who to go to.”
“I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost”, she writes.
Explaining her recent behavior, she says: “I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce.”
Spears also says she is “having to face a lot of things” as she raises her two young sons.

Ozzy Osbourne’s wanted daughters

Ozzy Osbourne thinks everyone wants to have sex with his daughters.
The Black Sabbath rocker is worried his daughters Aimee, 23, and Kelly, 22, attract more attention from men because their dad is a celebrity.
He told Britain’s Heat magazine: “I said to my girls, ‘What you have to understand is that everybody wants to have sex with a celebrity’s daughter. You’re a bit more on the wanted list. Be careful. Take a condom.’ ”
Ozzy admits Kelly and Aimee were less than impressed by his advice, but he has no regrets about making sure they act responsibly.
He added: “You know what? If they came home and said, ‘Dad, I’ve just tested positive,’ I would f***ing die if I had never told them.”
The 58-year-old also believes his children are criticized just they have a famous father.
He said: “Even if my kids were f***ing hair dressers they would still get stick because they are Ozzy Osbourne’s kids. I don’t know why. They just get bumped up on a pedestal and then get knocked down again.”
Kelly and her brother Jack, 21, both suffered media criticism after problems with alcohol led to stints in rehab - Jack in 2003, and Kelly in 2004.

Katie’s Treats

Katie Holmes isn’t above trying to sweeten herself up to her co-workers. With every Friday that passes that she’s on the set working on her new film “Mad Money”, Katie treats the film’s cast and crew of 300 people to some special treats.

In previous weeks, Mrs. Tom Cruise gave treats to the cast and crew, which includes co-stars Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Ted Danson, to smoothies, pizza, cupcakes, Coke floats, and most recently, snow cones.

I think her being a mommy to baby Suri has turned her to spoiling everyone in her sights. Kiddie snacks… cute. Where do I sign up? I want a snow cone.

These are things that every couple in the world fears’ for. You can get married to the person you love as always, but when the marriage goes out of control and there are children to take care off, it is then that serious issues arise. Something similar is taking place in the life of Anne Heche the Men in Trees star. She has fired back at Coley Laffoon’s contention that she was psychologically unfit to care for their five-year-old son, Homer, and accused him of resorting to “lies and distortions” in an effort to get more money out of her. What happens in the lives of these people is so much of lies and fills their lives with so much hate for each other. Now as the proceedings in the courts take place for the custody, there shall be more and more acquisitions that the two will make against one another. The 37-year-old actress has requested full legal and physical custody of Homer with visitation for Laffoon, while Laffoon has asked for joint physical and legal custody of the boy, plus $33,000 a month in child support. (Heche claims he has asked for closer to $45,000 in monthly support payments.) They will just keeping fight and will never look to make truce.

Trump to the Rescue

We all know about the Trump-O’Donnell war that went on due to drunken Miss America. And then every comment Rosie made after that, Donald was sure to make a rebuttal of sorts. We’ve come to expect it. But in a shocking move, Donald Trump actually supported Rosie on her latest cat fight with The View co-anchor Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Ladies and gentlemen… hell just froze over. Could this be the end of an epic battle between Trump and Rosie? Stay tuned.

As for the Rosie and Elisabeth battle, meh. It’s never gonna end. At least not until Rosie leaves. Then Elisabeth can be all nice again and stress free.

Paris and Happy Feet

As much as I don’t want to write another word on Paris, I can’t help it. Especially when I can pretty much celebrate with a big party for when she goes to the slammer. It’s only a few days away.

So what’s an heiress to do to cheer herself up? Rent Happy Feet of course! Donning a simple outfit but carrying a Louis Vuitton bag, Paris also rented Charlotte’s web and bought an ice cream cone before heading to her infamous car.

I can pretty much guess that this situation is her definition of the simple life… for now. Coz then it’s gonna be real simple with prison stripes and gooey meals.

Goldie Hawn to direct a comedy movie

Actor Goldie Hawn is all set to direct a new comedy Ashes to Ashes. The movie is going to be shot in India. Goldie Hawn is known to be quite a spiritual person and has visited India on numerous occasions to visit places of spiritual importance in the country. Goldie has enacted many roles for this movie’s production, behind the screen and on the screen. The movie, which begins its pre-production in the fall, will star her husband and Hollywood star Kurt Russel. Goldie has co-written the script, will be directing the movie and then even plans to co-star besides Kurt in the movie. The theme of the movie sounds comic already; it is about a woman who travels all the way through the cities and landscapes of India into Katmandu, Nepal to bury her husband’s ashes. But along the way she misplaces the ashes and then tries to find it.

Oprah’s Dad Writing About Her

If Oprah Winfrey does not write a book about herself then her father will. It seems like this celebrity was pretty “stunned” when she found out the plans concerning this book. Her view on the subject was laid out in a New York Daily News article:
“I was upset. I won’t say devastated, but I was stunned.”
One of her assistants told her that one newspaper was calling to ask about a book Vernor Winfrey is writing about her and her reaction was:
“I said, ‘That’s impossible. I can assure them it’s not true.’ I called him and it turned out he is writing a book. The worst part of it was him saying, ‘I meant to tell you I’ve been working on it.”’

Skipping CD ruins Britney’s lip-synched concert

It’s not much of a secret that Britney Spears and many of today’s pop stars choose to lip synch while performing, but every now and then, the technology that affords them the chance to sing silently comes back to burn them.
On Saturday night during an Orlando show, Britney Spears was booed mid-show when her backing track skipped five times during the 15 minute show, MTV UK is reporting. Spears reportedly played down the incident, and kept cranking out her five-song show.
All of Spears’ latest concerts, a handful of similar 15 minute gigs under the guise The M&Ms, have been lip-synched. The tour is aimed at helping Spears get her career on track following a nasty divorce from Kevin Federline which was followed by a hard-partying binge that ended with Spears — shaved head and all — checking into rehab.

Spears isn’t the only not-really-singing star to be bitten by a skipping track. Ashlee Simpson had the world’s eyes on her when the wrong backing track started playing on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and pop duo Milli Vanilli had to give back their Grammy awards after a major lip-synching scandal led them to confess that they used outside singers on their album.
But Britney has proved she really has vocal abilities and if she wants to get back to her previous fame maybe she should sing at least little live to show her fans she can do it after all this time. What’s the point to show up in front of so much people and just open your mouth without uttering a sound? If this is the way concert would be held we can stay at home and listen to our favorite singer. It would be pretty much the same.

Phillippe seeks joint custody with Witherspoon

Ryan wants joint custody over his children with the actress Reese Witherspoon.
Reese filled papers for divorce on November 8, citing “irreconcilable differences” as a reason for the split and she claimed for physical custody on their two children- 7-year-old Ava and 3-year-old Deacon.
In the Superior Court divorce petition, Witherspoon, 31, asked for visitation for Phillippe, 32, and “exclusive use of the family residence.”
In a response filled Tuesday Phillippe also cited irreconcilable differences as a reason for the break up but he wants a joint custody and physical custody of the children as well as visitation granted “to both parties, equally allocated.”
A telephone message left Thursday for Witherspoon publicist Nancy Ryder wasn’t immediately returned and there is no comment on Ryan’s request from Witherspoon or some of her representatives.
The documents filed with the court in November and this week do not list separate or community property, saying the nature of the assets has yet to be determined.
Witherspoon’s petition requested that the court not grant any spousal support to Phillippe. There was no request for support in Phillippe’s petition.
The couple married in 1999 when they costarred in the release “Cruel Intentions”.
Witherspoon won an Academy Award for her role as June Carter Cash in 2005’s “Walk the Line”.

Madonna Launches New Song for Charity

Madonna is one of the celebrities that will headline this summer’s “Live Earth” concerts. Because of this event the pop singer decided to launch a new digital song composed especially for this event.

Just in case you do not know, the concert is a global one and will take place on the 7th of July with the purpose of raising attentiveness about climate issues. For this event Pharrell Williams joined Madonna in producing the new single “Hey You”. You would normally expect a song about saving Earth but it will not be related to the topic at hand. This track will have lyrics that will talk about helping each other and love. It seems it will be a ballad.

Madonna will perform in London at the Wembley Stadium while other shows will take place in Shanghai, Tokyo, East Rutherford, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro Istanbul and Hamburg. Hollywood star to bringing vials of human growth hormone into Australia. This is a major offense on the part of the Stallone who has stared in Hollywood blockbusters like Rambo and Rocky. He was caught importing the prohibited import in Australia on the way from United States, so why wasn’t he caught or stopped on the airport in America. Did the custom officials in America check or know the things he was carrying in his luggage? It is a classic case where a celebrity is taking advantage of his fame and thinks that he will not be scanned and no one will ever think that a Hollywood star would be carrying drugs. Though surely there are many more people who might be involved in similar things and only these stars get highlighted in the media. But on the contrary it is the responsibility of these stars that they do not get involved into such acts. His movie Rocky Balboa will now be under the scanner as everything that the movie does in the market will be linked to him and this news can have a negative effect on the movie’s performance. Melinda love for everyone

American Idol’s top 3 took the stage taking on songs that the judges picked, songs that producers picked and finally, songs that they picked. That makes for 3 performances for each semi-finalist and 3 reviews to get through. But for the most part, the contestants all did great.

We can always count on Simon to give the less than impressed reviews of performances but I think he was out of it tonight. Aside from saying that he wishes this or that was done, he never said anything that would be expected. He actually praised them all. For the most part, it was all about loving Melinda.

Who could blame them? Melinda would so win this. It’s classic Cinderella! A shy back-up singer winning the big prize is like a rags-to-riches story. I’m not taking away from the abilities of the other two though. I think that Blake is too contemporary for the mass consensus and while Jordin can go all the way, I think her decision making would be her downfall. She’s young; she needs to sing young instead of trying to wow the crowd with power vocals on dated songs.

Paris Hilton is “living like a nun” in a bid to avoid prison .
The hotel heiress – who was sentenced to 45 days in jail for driving with a suspended licence - has been told by her lawyers to clean up her act in an attempt to evade jail.
Paris, 26, has told friends she is quitting alcohol and partying and has replaced her skimpy outfits with a new demure look.
She also made a public show of playing the loyal daughter by visiting her father Rick in hospital with a huge get well soon card.
A friend of the socialite’s told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Paris’ attorneys have insisted she live like a nun. She has been strictly advised to stop acting like a Hollywood brat and appear more humble as they battle to keep her out of jail. They have ordered her to show a judge she has some humility and social responsibility if she is going to have her sentence reduced on appeal. That means no booze, no parading round in skimpy outfits, no partying. She’s got to stick with her family and take on a healthier regime.”
Paris is due to begin her sentence at California’s female-only Century Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood on June 5.
Just in case her appeal is not successful, the socialite is said to be learning self-defense so she can protect herself against inmates who have threatened to target her.
Authorities have announced that Paris could serve less than half her sentence because of a state directive which reduces the length of incarceration for good behaviour and to ease overcrowding.

Lindsay is declared the hottest by Maxim

According to Maxim magazine Lindsay Lohan is the hottest woman in the world. This month she tops their “Hottest 100” list, and is featured in a teaser of a spread. “There is no other star in the world (who) causes more of a stir in the public eye than Lindsay,” said Maxim Editor in Chief Jimmy Jellinek in a statement. “Her every move is watched and reported on.”

You know, I think she’s pretty and all that, but I am not sure I would put her at the hottest of the hot. Then again, I’m not in the Maxim’s demographic, you might say, so who am I to judge. I do like Lindsay, and think she’s got a lot going for her. Congrats Lindsay, you deserve the, um, honor.

Mel’s doin’ well

Mel Gibson has been a star pupil in his alcohol rehabilitation program.  At least that is what the courts are saying.  “I truly believe the rehabilitation (in) this case is effective, and I don’t want to do anything to interrupt that,” said Malibu Superior Court Judge Lawrence J. Mira, explaining why the actor was not asked to appear for Friday’s progress hearing.   Since his arrest for drunk driving last July and his outburst against Jews, Mel has had a lot of thinking to do.  Looks like that time away was good for him.

Isn’t it a great thing that people cannot seem to hide how they really feel when drunk?  It’s such a great truth serum, alcohol.  No matter how good Mel has been in rehab, no matter how many pot holders he has crocheted, he still is a bigot.  We all know this, and so does he.

Angelina marriage refusal

Angelina Jolie doesn’t want to marry Brad Pitt.
Despite starting a family with Brad, the actress doesn’t want to become his wife. Angelina told Reader’s Digest magazine: “We’ve both been married before. Our focus when we got together was family, and we are legally bound to our children. That really seems to be the most important thing.”
The ‘Tomb Raider’ star has been married twice before, to British actor Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, while Brad was previously married to Jennifer Aniston.
The 31-year-old also revealed she and Brad have to sneak off to the bedroom every chance they get to spend some time alone, away from their four children.
The couple have an adopted Cambodian son Maddox, five, three-year-old Vietnamese son Pax Thien, two-year-old Ethiopian daughter Zahara and biological daughter Shiloh who turns one this month.
Angelina said: “Right now, finding quality time is our problem! We hang out. We try to talk over the swing set. We’ll have a date night once everybody is settled. Especially now with Pax, he still gets scared if I’m gone more than a few hours. But we’ll get them occupied with a movie and popcorn and try to run off and lock the door for a bit.”

Cameron Diaz: No Paris pity

Cameron Diaz has little sympathy for Paris Hilton’s prison sentence, it has been claimed.
The ‘Shrek’ actress, who is the hotel heiress’ neighbour, says her weekend was ruined when paparazzi surrounded Paris’ home after she was sentenced to 45 days in jail on Friday.
Cameron, 34, is alleged to have said Paris must accept her punishment after being found guilty of driving with a suspended license.
Cameron is reported by ‘Entertainment Tonight’ as saying: “She made her bad choices, she’s going to have to deal with it, that’s her journey.”
“She just has to get plastered all over the world. There were 10 helicopters above her house, which I live not too far from. I was like, ‘Could you please keep it down.’ We all suffer when Paris suffers.”
Meanwhile, Paris has rehired publicist Elliot Mintz who she sacked after he admitted responsibility for her jail sentence. The 26-year-old blond had been on a 36-month probation order after pleading “no contest” to reckless driving but claimed in court Mintz had not told her she was banned from driving.
Paris has now launched an appeal against her sentence and petitioned California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Tracy Morgan’s wandering hands

Tracy Morgan has been sued for groping a South Florida DJ in Miami on Friday morning. He seems to start his perversions early in the day, likely with his coffee. Yuleika De Castro told police that Morgan smelled of alcohol as he touched her shoulders and arms, kissed the back of her head, Miramar Police Department spokesman Bill Robertson said. Yuleika felt dirty and violated, and so filed a complaint faster than you can say law suit. Good for her.

“He said he wants to impregnate me,” Domingo told The Associated Press. This doesn’t sound like any guy I would want to interview. What an absolute loser. It’s a real shame too, because I really thought he was a nice guy. I guess I thought wrong.

Paris rehires her publicist

Paris Hilton has rehired the publicist she dumped over the weekend after being sentenced to 45 days in jail.
Elliot Mintz confirmed to The Associated Press on Tuesday that he is again representing the 26-year-old socialite, who was ordered to report to county jail by June 5 for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
In a court appearance Friday, Hilton told the judge Mintz informed her it was all right to drive on a suspended license for work obligations. Mintz also testified Hilton believed she was allowed to drive. The judge called Mintz’s testimony worthless.
Paris has called the sentence unfair, and her fans have posted a petition on the Internet urging Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon her.
“I feel that I was treated unfairly and that the sentence is both cruel and unwarranted and I don’t deserve this,” Hilton told photographers assembled outside her home Saturday.
The petition, which had more than 900 signatures by Tuesday morning, urges the California actor-turned-governor to pardon Hilton because she provides “beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives.”
A message left with Schwarzenegger’s press office regarding the petition wasn’t immediately returned.
Meanwhile, Hilton’s lawyers have filed a notice with the court indicating their intent to appeal the decision. The document is required before a formal appeal can be lodged.

HBO CEO says TTFN

HBO CEO Chris Albrecht was forced to quit Wednesday after 22 years.  Why, you might ask?  Well, he’s been beating up his girlfriends for years, and evidently that’s just not cable ready. “With great regret, at the request of Time Warner, I have agreed to step down,” Albrecht said in a statement. “I take this step for the benefit of my Home Box Office colleagues, recognizing that I cannot allow my personal circumstances to distract them from the business.”   Everything came to a head this weekend when Chris was arrested in Las Vegas for battery.

Funny, he’s been beating women for years, and it was only when it came to light the company saw fit to do something about it?  Covering your own asses much?  I feel sorry for all the women he has tortured, but I think it’s idiotic to punish him now for something they thought was perfectly okay for so long.
