Victoria Beckham loved humiliation

Ugly Betty star America Ferrera says Victoria Beckham was willing to do anything for laughs when she appeared on the show – and loved humiliating herself.

Mrs Beckham made a cameo appearance in the comedy drama earlier this year and America said: “Posh was wonderful. She was so lovely. Everyone really enjoyed her on the set, and she definitely came with an attitude just to play. That’s the wonderful thing about our show - we know we are fortunate to be on something so uplifting and fun. So it’s fun when other people get to come in, and you just gotta go for it. If you’re not willing to be humiliated, then you don’t belong on our show. And she was ready to be humiliated.”

But it seems there was confusion on set about what to call the former Spice Girl.

America added: “I don’t think I called her Posh. I avoided it because I didn’t know. What do you call her? I was just, ‘Hi, you!’ We’ve been really lucky to have people who have been fans of the show to come and play with us, especially people who would really exist in this world like Posh Spice and Snoop Dogg.”

After a busy week of passing out in her home, being hospitalized, getting diagnosed with early signs of what could be emphysema, visiting her husband in prison and ditching a Nelson Mandela photo call, Amy Winehouse chose to cap off her week by getting hydrated with whiskey and vodka. Between cigarettes, alcohol and whatever other treats she can get her hands on, Wino has all the essential pop wreck food groups covered. Daddy Wino may have made a mistake on the severity of his daughter’s illness but his doomsday mood may have had a point. Wino is still in serious need of help.

Shaq Getting Busted for Anti-Kobe Rap

The Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona thinks that Shaquille O’Neal better shut up. Now, he’s pulled the NBA baller’s special deputy’s badge because of his rapping rant against Kobe Bryant. Last January, Sheriff Joe Arpaio made the Phoenix Suns center a special deputy and then promoted him to a ceremonious colonel earlier this month. Arpaio told the AP “I want his two badges back. Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they’re fired. I don’t condone this type of racial conduct.” Arpaio is known as “American’s Toughest Sheriff”. He even gets his inmates to wear pink underwear and work on a chain gang.

Christina Talks Rock the Vote

Christina Aguilera posed for photographers and signed autographs outside the ‘Larry King Live’ show in Hollywood on Wednesday. The 27-year old singer appeared on the show to discuss her public service announcement with Rock the Vote. Christina and her five-month old song Max Liron star in a new Rock the Vote campaign ad which is set to premiere this month. As the ad closes, Christina looks up at the camera and says “It’s time to make history. It’s time to rock the vote.” Rock the Vote, since its inception, has tried to use pop culture to prod young people to vote.

Guy Ritchie is flying to New York to save his marriage to Madonna

Guy Ritchie is flying to New York this weekend in a last-ditch bid to save his marriage to Madonna. The couple hope to get their relationship back on track for the sake of their children.

A source close to them said: “It is make or break time for Guy and Madonna. She is completely focused on rehearsals for her tour in America and can’t come back to London. They want to make the marriage work, but they are at a stalemate. Divorce is something they have thought about.”

It was first revealed last month that the relationship was in trouble. The couple have not been photographed together since June 2 and had looked strained and ill-at-ease in each other’s company.

Over the last six months both film director Guy, 39, and 49-year-old Madonna have consulted lawyers in case of a permanent split.

The singer — referred to as Em by her close pals — has taken informal advice from top divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton. The source added: “Em went to Fiona so that if they do split up, it will be easier to handle all the publicity if everything is in place legally. But at the moment they are both trying to rescue the situation. Em has shown a willingness to patch things up. But because almost all rehearsals for the tour are in New York rather than in London Guy thinks she’s not sacrificing much. He has now decided to fly out there this weekend to try to sort things out.”

Gwen’s London Baby

It looks like Gwen Stefani will be giving birth in London as a very pregnant and looking ready to pop Gwen paid a visit to the London zoo on Tuesday afternoon with hubby Gavin Rossdale and son Kingston. They were joined by tennis legend Roger Federer who is currently competing in Wimbledon. Gavin recently spoke of his wife’s pregnancy and the pressures that come along with it saying “Yeah, she does (feel under pressure). I mean, she’s just so dedicated and she’s just amazing with that stuff (weight loss). It’s very hard because everyone’s so judged the whole time.” Don’t worry Gwen. I love you no matter what!

Britney Spears Gets Her Babies at Night

She may not be sporting a smile in this picture but trust me, Britney Spears has a got a lot to be happy about. The 26-year old should be celebrating the court’s ruling to allow her overnight visitation rights with her songs Jayden James and Sean Preston. Sean is now 2 ½ while Jayden is 20 months. Britney lost the right to have her children overnight since her hospitalization on January 3rd of this year. The recovering starlet and her ex-husband Kevin Federline are due back in court on July 15th to further discuss the situation. Yay for her! That means that she’s really doing so much better.

Justin Timberlake suffers from OCD

 
Justin Timberlake says he suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The 27-year-old singer has revealed the condition affects many parts of his daily life - right down to making sure objects are always lined up perfectly.

Justin, who also claims he has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), is quoted by website Collider.com as saying: “I have OCD mixed with ADD. You try living with that. It’s complicated.”

OCD - which David Beckham, Jessica Alba and Cameron Diaz have all admitted to suffering from - is a psychiatric anxiety disorder often characterised by obsessive thoughts, compulsions or rituals.

ADD is a developmental disorder, and suffers often complain of forgetfulness, distractibility and hyperactivity. Justin has also admitted he is “addicted” to performing live, and gets a thrill out of entertaining arenas packed with his fans.

He explained: “I get butterflies. You just kind of get caught up in the electricity of it. Oh, yeah, that still happens to this day. And when that stops happening, you should stop. It’s addictive, you know what I mean?”

Heather Locklear Seeks Treatment

As if we didn’t know she needed help…although, she doesn’t need quite as much as ex-bff Denise Richards…..

Heather Locklear has gone to Arizona to get some psychiatric treatment, per her publicist.

Her rep CeCe Yorke says, “Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requsted an in depth evaluation of her medication and entered into an medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released.”

I’m guessing it’s an AA treatment so she will quit getting drunk and flashing gang signs.

Will Smith to star in Bollywood film

Will Smith wants to star in a Bollywood film. The ‘Hancock’ actor – who has made his name by landing lead roles in a series of big blockbuster action movies – thinks it is time to try his hand at a different genre.

He said: “I’ve made a couple of speculative deals in India. We’ve got some Bolly-Will movies going on!”

Will also dismissed claims he is planning to make a follow-up to his hit movies ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘Bad Boys 2’.He added: “I probably won’t do that. There have been pitches, and the concept is genius for ‘Bad Boys 3’ but I’ve moved on now.”

It was recently reported Will had begged director Michael Bay to let him reprise his role for a third time because his son is such a big fan of the movies. Will and Martin Lawrence starred in the first film in 1995, with the sequel being released eight years later.

Paula Abdul Splits with J.T.

I give J.T. Torregiani props for being able to put up with Paula Abdul for this long.  But now, after just a little over a year, it’s splitsville for them.  seems J.T. packed up and move on.

A source says that Paula is handling it well.  She says, “She’s doing fine.  She has moved on with her life.”  But it looks like she won’t be getting the kids she’s been wanting.

50 Cent’s Ex Files Restraining Order

Why can’t people just get along? 50 Cent’s ex girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins has slapped him with a restraining order. She is also the mother of their 11 year old son Marquise.

If you remember, Shaniqua’s house mysteriously burned down earlier this month. She took out a restraining order requiring 50 to be unarmed and “curbside” when picking up or dropping off their son. He also cannot be on any property with Shaniqua.

How did he respond? By throwing back a defamation lawsuit at her. He filed the suit in regards to her accusations of his involvement in her house fire.

Amy Winehouse Tuberculosis Scare

Rumors are saying that Amy Winehouse might possibly be dying of tuberculosis.  No official reports, though.

Sources say Amy has been coughing up blood for a while now, but she has refused to let doctors examine her.  They say there is actually a high chance that she could have the disease.

Jessica Simpson Fuels the PETA Fire

Yeah, Jess, this wasn’t your brightest move ever. Now you have PETA breathing down your back.

So, Jessica Simpson was photographed recently wearing a t-shirt that said, “Real Girls Eat Meat”. Yeah, that was an invitation for a PETA heyday.

PETA’s response? “Jessica Simpson’s meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken-of-the-Sea, anyone? The woman who thought Buffalo ‘wings’ came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food.”

They didn’t stop there. They went on with, “Meat will make you fat. All the saturated fat and cholesterol in chicken wings, pork chops, and steak eventually leads to flabby thighs and love handles. I hope the upcoming Jessica Simpson’s Intimates line comes in plus sizes!”

Ashlee Simpson Gets a Check Up

Ashlee Simpson was accompanied by her hubby Pete Wentz as she got a routine check up in West Hollywood last Thursday. When she was asked about her pregnancy she said that “everything’s fine”. Her 29-year old Fall Out Boy bassist hubby recently talked to In Touch saying “I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!” Pete also talked about their new home saying “It’s ours together — that’s the beautiful thing about marriage.” He’s mushy isn’t he? Pete also talked about how big of a family they’re aiming for, joking “I want either a band or a football team or a good geometry club.”

Madonna’s brother to write book

Madonna’s brother is set to write a tell-all book about his famous sister.

Christopher Ciccone has signed a deal with publishers Simon and Schuster and will be working with Wendy Leigh, who’s responsible for writing biographies on Liza Minnelli, Grace Kelly and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

‘Living With My Sister Madonna’ will chronicle Christopher’s 47-year relationship with the ‘Material Girl’ singer and will have an initial print run of 350,000 copies.

Madonna - who no longer has a close relationship with Christopher - will not be involved in the project. Her spokesperson Liz Rosenberg said: “Madonna has not cooperated with any biography about herself.”

Christopher has worked with Madonna, 49, before. In 1991, he was involved in her documentary ‘Madonna: Truth or Dare’ and designed and directed her ‘Girlie Show’ world tour in 1993.

Madonna is not the first celebrity to have a family member write a revealing book about them. Jennifer Aniston famously fell out with her mother Nancy after she published a book about her famous daughter, while soccer star David Beckham was furious when his father Ted revealed family secrets in his tell-all memoir.

Justin Timberlake Makes Forbes List

Justin Timberlake was recently seen when he arrived at the premiere of his new comedy ‘The Love Guru’ which was held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Wednesday. The 27-year old singer/actor plays a professional hockey player Jacques Grande – the one who rocks a Speedo and wears a porn-stache. In other JT news, the entertainer ranked #12 on Forbes World’s Most Powerful Celebrities list. The magazine says “Two million fans paid $100 million to see J.T. on his FutureSex/Love Show tour. The former boy-band member also appeared in a Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi, heads his own music label and has signed a development deal with MTV.”

What would be the perfect 27th birthday present? Well, boyfriend Marko Jaric decided that an engagement ring sounded about right.

Marko plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves and has been dating Adriana for about nine months. Publicist James Weir says, “He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn’t be more in love.

Marko says, “I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am difficult person from that standpoint. Now, it’s a little different situation.”

Judge Says 50 Can’t Sell

In the wake of his Long Island house burning down a month ago, rapper 50 Cent was planning to sell the place. A judge says, nope, not yet…not until his feud with baby-momma Shaniqua Tompkins is settled.

The house, worth a cool $2 million, burned down by an “unknown cause”. My bet’s on G-Unit for taking out the place since Shaniqua wouldn’t move out when Fitty told her to. She says 50 was guilty of “breaking a promise” to give her and their son a house.

For now, insurance money from the house fire is sitting in a trust fund somewhere.

Jack Black desperate to lose weight

Jack Black is desperate to lose weight so he can star in more nude scenes. The 38-year-old actor – who has just become a father for the second time – is determined to shed his excess pounds to be more attractive to his fans when he sheds his clothes on the silver screen.

He said: “When I saw my rear end in my nude scene in ‘Margot at the Wedding’, it actually had a double chin. I’ve joined a gym because the next time you see me naked I’ll be trim.”

Jack also said he wanted to slim down because he was getting worried about his health.

He added: “I want to feel good too. Now if I eat a cheeseburger and fries, it tastes so good at the time and then right after it’s like, ‘What did I do? Why?’”

Jack – who unwittingly confirmed his ‘Kung Fu Panda’ co-star Angelina Jolie was expecting twins recently – revealed he used to be a martial arts enthusiast.

He said: “When I was a kid, I took karate and judo classes. I even won a trophy in a judo tournament, but I confess I outweighed the competition by 20lbs. I never took any kung-fu classes though, I just saw it on TV and in the movies.”

Landon Brown’s LiLo Adventure

So, if you don’t know (and you probably don’t), Landon Brown is the son of Bobby Brown. Well, he’s come out with claims that he and Lindsay Lohan got hot and heavy in a bathroom.

Landon says, “Me and Lindsay got really, really close. She followed me to the bathroom during a private party and, well, we basically got together. I think she knew who I was when she first saw me. We were just staring at each other and she walked by. I walked into the bathroom and she followed me in.”

She knew who you were? No one knows who you are. And does he really think screwing Linds will be his claim to fame? Yeah, no.

Jessica Alba has given birth to a baby girl.

The Fantastic Four actress, who married longterm boyfriend Cash Warren three weeks ago, gave birth to her daughter at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Alba and Warren are reported to have chosen the name Honor Marie for their new daughter. She will also take her father’s surname Warren.

The 27 year-old actress met Warren on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004, when he was a director’s assistant. They tied the knot at a Beverly Hills courthouse on May 19.

Alba confessed that although the pregnancy was unplanned, it wasn’t entirely unexpected. She said: “I can’t say it was a total accident. Because you’re aware of when you’re being careful and when you’re not. It just happened so soon.”

Joe Simpson Takes Over Lives

Joe Simpson will really do anything to get some cash even if it means selling out his daughters Ashlee and Jessica. Us Weekly is reporting that the girls’ manager/dad asked Jessica’s boyfriend Tony Romo to get rid of his current agent and let him manage his career. If you must know, Tony has a $67 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Apparently, Joe also offered to sell the story of Jess and Tony’s engagement and subsequent wedding to the magazine with the biggest bid. The only catch on that is that the couple isn’t even engaged yet. There were rumors that they were about to be but Joe ruined that too.

Victoria Beckham’s son dating Beckinsale’s daughter

Victoria Beckham’s son Brooklyn is set to start dating Kate Beckinsale’s daughter.

Actress Kate has given Brooklyn - Victoria’s eldest son with her soccer star husband David - her blessing to romance Lily, even though both children are only nine.

She is quoted as saying: “I am dreading the day Lily brings home a boy. But she and the Beckham boys get on really well. So if she did have to have a boyfriend, then I suppose Brooklyn would get my seal of approval!”

Kate, 34, has become close friends with Victoria since the former Spice Girl moved to Los Angeles with David and their three sons - Brooklyn, five-year-old Romeo and Cruz, three - last summer.

Speaking at Tuesday’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London - where she was named Actress of the Year - Kate revealed Victoria, 34, had passed on a crucial style tip. She said: “Victoria gave me nipple covers. You don’t want your little peas sticking out, do you?”

Amy Winehouse Late Again

If you’re given a choice of who to feel worse for, who would you choose between Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil? Both are pretty far gone that it’s hard to choose one. On Monday, Wino turned up over 4 hours late to court for her hubby’s trial for the charges from the bar fight that he was involved in. The singer spent her time alone in the front row while blowing kisses to Blake and mouthing ‘I love you’. During the course of her stay, Amy even scrambled through her purse and came out with a heart brooch with the name Blake on it for her hubby to see. She continued to mouth words to him throughout until the usher told her to stop. Then, not even 2 hours later after arriving hours late, Amy decided she was done and left at around 4PM.

Lindsay Lohan may move to Europe

Lindsay Lohan will move to Europe if she has children. The 21-year-old actress is a fan of continental culture, and believes any one of the many countries would be ideal to raise a family.

She said: “I love the culture. It’s so diverse. If I lived in Europe, I’d definitely speak three languages, and I would definitely want to raise my children there too. When I talk with my really close friends, that’s what I always say.”

‘Mean Girls’ star Lindsay – who is rumoured to be in a lesbian relationship with close friend, DJ Samantha Ronson – has already identified a designer for her wedding gown.

After saying how much she had enjoyed a recent Dolce and Gabbana fashion show, she added: “They’re such good people to be around. And the way their dresses fit. If I get married, I would definitely want them to do the gown.”

According to recent reports, Lindsay has been telling friends that she and Samantha are planning to marry in a civil ceremony in July and she has even been referring to herself as ‘Lindsay Ronson’.

50 Cent Speaks on Fire

50 Cent wasn’t in his Long Island home or anywhere near it when the fire broke out early Friday morning and was only informed about what was going on. The rapper issued a statement via his rep talking about the fire saying “Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property. He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely. He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings.”
